What you would expect after the first one. Same repetative missions. More fun to play with friends. Not much multiplayer.

Leveling up gear is a slow progression way to keep you playing. Not the greatest.

Great shooting mechanics, but boring gameplay loop

The shooting works well, but the realism of the visuals makes it hard to get sucked into the world when enemies can take multiple magazines to the face without dying. Death has almost no stakes, and the missions are functionally all identical.

The Division2 is impossible for single player

The Division2 is impossible to play for single player in story mode. Life span is about 2 minutes before getting killed by a lot rebels on every street across DC city. Enemies become extremely aggressive very quickly after 1st mission. Respawn location is very far away and requires to run across the city to get killed immediately. 99.9% of Division2 gameplay is by keep dying.
Don't buy The Division2 unless you are hardcore with a group of online players.

Its very average game. The storyline is good and engaging, but, the gameplay gets boring and confusing afterwards.

This game is just okay. The shooting mechanics are very well done but the game seems to have no flow to keep the player interested.

They would have been better off adding dlc to the first game and save themselves the trouble of dealing with the same buggy stuff all over again

A Great Sequel that this Series/Genre Needed

Pros:
This improved on so much from the first game that it is almost like they read my mind. Combat is less spongy, the A.I. is pretty intelligent at times, the graphics are amazing (even better than the first one), the world seems more organic, the variety of enemies is great, the weapon models are really good and make sense (an M60 is not as accurate as a SCAR, but has more damage potential).
Cons:
The only minor things I could think of is the cut-scenes are a little boring and the dialogue is repetitive, but I didn't get the game for a blockbuster worthy story I bought it for the loot and that seems to be fine.
Conclusion:
If you are interested at all in type of game get it. An 8.5/10 from IGN, a 9/10 from game informer. I personally give it a 9/10.
