Great Game for the Tom Clancy Franchise

This game has turned out to be better then I expected. For years I have played Tom Clancy games because I always like how they made their shooters. The mechanics are smooth and the story line is solid. Their are some bugs but that's to be expected. The good thing is that they seem to roll out updates and fixes pretty often and are even rolling out free content. The Dark Zone which is the PvP aspect offers something different and gives you the feeling of danger with every encounter.

The Division incorporates a lot of the things I enjoyed about Destiny (quick online co-op, gear crafting, weapon modification) and brings it into a beautifully rendered New York. The graphics are amazing. The combat is quick and fluid. And the cover mechanism is very accurate. Unlike some other games in the past where it was difficult to always know where you going to snap yo for cover, this game is easy to get exactly where you want to be Ina fire fight without having to fight the controls. Overall very fun game

The game graphically is great. The online play is different from most because of the 3rd person shooting. Love how detailed the game is overall. Definitely a fun play

What Destiny Should Have Been

As my title states, this game has the story and progression rate that is enjoyable. It's not just a bunch of random encounters that end in boss fights. It's actually realistic version of Borderlands (minus the humorous snark-the only drawback). The missions aren't impossible. I don't spend 6 hours trying to defeat on board. I've been hesitant in buying the season pass as I've been burned so many times with Destiny. I'm going to get this one though.

The Division is a great Action RPG with a different perspective. The Division is set in modern day New York in the Tom Clancy universe; so it has a different feel than most RPG's which are usually set in the fantasy or sci-fi genres. The controls are easy to use and there is a great variety of weapons to utilize. The story is interesting and keeps you wanting to level up and progress.
The addition of the Dark Zone where players can, but don't have to, kill other players is an interesting take on multi-player. You can go solo, which is not recommended, or you can team up with other players to take down both AI controlled enemies and other players with the goal of confiscating and extracting weapons and other gear to help you player improve. It has its own monetary system, separate from the main game, for earning money to spend with vendors.
The Division is offers a great escape for players that like a good action RPG. Would recommend this game to anyone!!

Alpha and Beta were good, but not excellent. The full game on the other hand is one of the best Tom Clancy Games ive played yet. A big fan of TC, yes. Gameplay is outstanding, lots of side missions, stuff to collect along the way. Watch someone play it on a streaming site like twitch and youll definitely want to buy it.

This game is riddled with glitches and is not a game for the easily frustrated. Although to gain the full experience you'll have to pay for a season pass, you are presented with a unique type of story. Following suit with Ubisoft games, they want you to find a ton of meaningless junk similar to the Assassins Creed games (ignore it unless you want achievements). The 'Dark Zone' is a PVP arena with mini bosses all over the place, you must kill them to earn superior and high end equipment to boost your characters gear load outs, but you may also be attacked and have your items stolen from you by other online players. As it stands right now, thousands of users are heavily geared due to Ubisoft releasing the game with hundreds of glitches and exploits. The no lifers who first bought the game and grinded the exploits are at a sever advantage to the average user, so beware of the dark zone at this time.

If you have been disappointed with how Destiny 2 turned out and you are a fan of the first one, then Division is about as close as you can get to the grind/loot mechanics of the first Destiny game with out actually playing it. Yes, it's a "realistic" setting and yes there is not "magic" however the class skills and perks work out in similar ways to the original destiny and more importantly, the end game is very similar with random rolled weapons and gear. In any case, if you are looking for something to get into that is similar to Destiny in terms of end game, you may want to check this game out. Obviously don't go into this game expecting the 100% exact destiny experience. It is a different game. However if you are looking for the end game that Destiny 2 is missing, you may want to check this game out instead.

I understand the critical views from the games press, however, from an end consumer perspective, this is just a fun game! Other games are doing similar things, Destiny, CoD, etc, but I think this game has more in common with Diablo 3 and Borderlands. It is the loot mechanics, executed with a 3rd person cover-based shooter mechanism, wrapped up in a near-future apocalypse scenario that takes place in Manhattan! What's not to like? Solid game.

This is a fun and consuming game. I have yet to experience any disappointment from the game play itself, any disappointment is my own fault. I have recommended this game with zero negative response from purchases. The third person shooting was an adjustment but easily adaptable. The initial team play can be tough because of the level scaling system. The matchmaking is phenomenal, the best I have seen in a console game.

Had been looking forward to this since last year and it did not disappoint. Great customization and an good story. Starts off pretty easy and gets harder as you go. You max out at level 30 and right now I'm a level 17 and finding it challenging.
The online multi-player is fun with pretty good match making. Either way you play you should have a good time.

Tom Clancy worked on the game before his death & now that his son Thomas is taking over his Legacy, we should thank Tom for all the books, movies & games he worked on for us. The Division is a great TPS/RPG with Great Campaign, Fun Coop & Intense Multiplayer in the Dark Zone. Must Buy for any gamer

Destiny was getting really lame and then this game arrive! I started off not liking it because it got so much contents and then now i play it like everyday! Wish the weapons and gears are more useful and last longer. Hate when leveling up having to choose new gear and lossing my fav perks. But in all i give it a 4 out of 5.

I was pleasantly surprised with this game. It throws rewards at you nonstop so there's always new gear. The missions are pretty fun - somewhat repetitive but still highly replayable. The Darkness Zone is unlike anything I've ever played before and a good mix of exciting and challenging.

After 30+ hours in the division I can honestly this game has become my favorite game of 2016. The division plays smooth and has great content which makes it feel like you got your dollars value worth. The game plays smoothly and looks amazing. Gameplay is amazing and rewarding. The division is an amazing new franchise that gets better with every play through.

Excellent graphics, interesting story and fun gameplay. The only drawback is the grind to level up so that you can go into the dark zones or fight people a level or two higher than you. And trust me, you will need to level up. It only takes a couple of times of you having your behind handed to you before you realize that their serious about those levels.

One of my favorite style of game play is to play online with friends in a co-op way. Teaming up with three friends and playing the division is great. The game is hard and to beat each mission you have to coordinate with your squad and use strategy to win. You can't just run and gun. Definitely pick this one up if you have friends to play with.
