Scenery is great, so different from the previous Tomb Raider movies. More emotion and less skills. Once you get over this is not like the previous movies it can be enjoyable to watch. If you are expecting the old Laura Croft then you might be disappointed. Give it a go!

Tomb Raider has excellent casting, especially Vikander as Lara. Mathias was played well, but movies still haven’t figured out how to properly use their Goggins. The film looks nice with some great scenery and fun action set pieces. This is one of the better video game films without doubt, but it’d probably been better off doing a 100% original story instead of picking and choosing a few parts from one of the games and then making stuff up all around those few things. Just do your own thing, it is probably better that way. Tomb Raider is a fun time with a fantastic lead that ultimately is enjoyable but probably not all that memorable.

Coming from years of gaming and watching the hundreds of bad game adaptations, you'd think this would be another title to throw into the endless pit of cash grab movie flops but for once this film was not too bad or cringey. Good action and a fun flick to check out.

I enjoyed the first two Tomb Raider movies, but I felt this one was the best of the bunch. The new actress seemed to be the perfect choice for the lead role. She really gave a super performance, seeming to grow into the Laura Croft that we love and know as the movie went on. I highly recommend this movie for the whole family.

Remakes of successful first effort are usually OK viewing, but never as good as their predecessor, but this remake is so good, you can rate it as good if not better than the original. I'll still watch the original with Angelina Jolie, but I'll watch this remake because it's a refreshing remake that is thrilling cinema.

This version of the Tomb Raider is entertaining. I found it a little bit slow in the beginning but eventually the action began. It's a simple formula that the Tomb Raider series use, so if you seen the older version's you'll be able to predict this one.

This is a great reboot to the Tomb Raider franchise. I appreciated that the adventure was based upon discovering the real, factual roots of a mystical myth. The movie also provided a noteworthy backstory to the development of Lara Croft's character. Alicia Vikander's performance exhibited her commitment to the role.

Honestly should have cast Camilla Luddington. Overall the movie follows the same plot as the game with a few twists. Not a great choice for the actress.

I thought the reboot of Tomb Raider was good... these kind of storylines are a little bit on the "well trodden" side so it a bit difficult to come up with something original. However, this should be good to go for a few more movies in this franchise.

I've never seen the original Tomb Raider movies so I was going into this unbiased. I wasn't super impressed with this movie, but I'd like to watch it again. The picture quality fine and the sound was fine as well, but not among the best I've heard or seen.

The film is good but i feel it could've been a little more Bad-@$$. It has certain elements like the game that came out for the PS4 but some stuff changed. I wish there were more puzzles to solve in the film but overall, it was enjoyable. Recommend it.

Really enjoyed this one- infinitely better than the Jolie versions... Though I have to say if you played the video game that was released in 2013, you've basically seen the movie-- which I felt was a bit of a letdown. Overall though, a great flick.

I've been a long time fan of the tomb raider games and I enjoyed the old films with Angelina Jolie. I didn't know what to expect going in to this film but was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable it was. It's almost like a film version of the rebooted tomb raider story. Good tale, good action, good movie

I am a fan of the Tomb Raider video games and the original films with Angelina Jolie so I gave this a shot. Worth checking out if you're a fan of the franchise. If you have a home theater with a 4K setup and surround sound, definitely check this out.

This is the best Tomb Raider so far! The new female lead character has a much more of a "normal" girl. She doesn't have a bunch of gadgets, guns, or extensive training making her an expert at combat. The story line isn't based off a highly fictional artifact with super natural powers like the other movies.

Not what we thought it would be - from a story-line angle. Has plenty of OMG action numbers if you like that kind of thing. Overall it was a nice evening of entertainment at home with our Sony 75" 4K HDR TV and Pioneer 5.2.2 ATMOS sound system.

The game on which the movie is based is a lot more interesting to be honest, although I have to give credit to actress who played Lara., Man she is ripped. Never seen a six pack like that on woman who was not a professional body builder. And she took a real beating in this movie. Technically well done. Sound is among the best I have heard on any movie. But just felt bit lacking to me. Ever Walter Goggins, who I loved in Justified, kind of sleep walked his way through this one. No one's heart seemed to really be in it. If you have not played the video game, you might like it more. Some scenes are directly copied in the movie, although the beginning and ending are different.

I was thoroughly entertained by the latest version of the Tomb Raider story. Alicia Vikander gives a different twist to the Lara Croft character and makes it very believable. It's not your gamer Croft, but I would definitely recommend it.

Was a little reluctant to buy this movie due to the fact that the last two raider didn’t follow the games exactly but this one was exactly to the tea from the very first came to the ones now and very impressive on how they got every little detail then from all the games wrapped up into a good movie

I thought this was a really good reboot of the series. I have always been a Tomb Raider fan. This film stayed true to the 2013 video game remake with some deviations and additions which I was thankful for. I thought it was beautifully done!
