I never played the game so I can’t comment on if it stays true. But I can say it’s entertains. You rally pull for Laura. This new one is more gritty and less supernatural the the older movie series.

I picked this up mainly because I had the 1st 2 movies and wanted to add it to my collection. I have not watched it yet, so cannot accurately rate it yet. I didn't want to hurt the ratings though, so gave it 4 stars.

Movie is a lot better than what critics rated it, however not quite as good as Angelina Jolie's Tomb Raider movies. Still makes a great stand alone movie that I will watch again.

I liked the movie a lot an the actress was great I like her too. I hope she will do another Laura Croft sequel if they make another movie. I feel it’s along the line of Indiana Jones only a women Laura Croft! It’s a good movie for my granddaughter to watch she enjoyed it too.

This is an excellent origin story to the Tomb Raider genre while many people were not too crazy about it for an origin story it was beautifully well-made and done Alicia was a fantastic actress and I give her many props for doing her stunts character and story pick it up today

I think this is a little underrated as a movie. I think the missed it a little with the origin story take and the attempt to make it less mystical but it’s a really fun movie in the vein of the National Treasure movies.

I personally prefer this rebooted version of the Tomb Raider movies to those with AJ. This version is grittier. Looking forward to more in the future.

Alicia V. works extra hard and is one tough athlete playing the role of Lara Croft. Lots of action in this movie. Nice discounted price was nice even though the DVD has been out for several months. I highly recommended it for the movie and the included bonus features.

This is a good film, but not as good as the original film with Angelina Jolie. But if you like these kinds of films seeing the remake is always worth a watch

If you played the reboot of Tomb Raider in 2013 you’ve pretty much seen this movie. Some of the action is shot for shot from the game. This isn’t a bad thing I loved that game and I enjoyed this movie. They made minor changes to the story which was fine with me.

Maybe video game campaigns/stories should just be left off the silver screen. The movie is decent at best, but the picture and audio quality on this disc is an easy demo choice for any home theater afficionado.

This is the latest Lara Croft movie and is a very good version of the Lara Croft stories. The Blu-ray disc provided excellent video and audio quality. My older grandchildren were particular impressed with this movie.

This was a fairly entertaining movie to watch. You didn't need to see the original two movies that came before it or have to have played the newer video games which is what is more based on. Definitely worth a watch.

To some these movies may be tacky but I find them fun and enjoyable. Being based on a video game there are going to be some unbelievable and campy moments. The movie is intended as an action film, not serious.

It was a bit slow in the beginning but the action finally picked up after 45 mins. Sorry to say that the stunts were not as good as the original. So I rated it as a Good not Excellent. Would I watch it again, maybe?

Bought the 4k version of tomb raider since im a fan of video games, and i was not dissapointed. This version is more in line with the games than the older movies. Great story and plot, visual looks awesome with 4k!

This movie is beautiful in 4K, I loved the performances, really don't understand the negative character reviews. If you are fan of the game, and adventure movies, this won't let you down. Just stop the comparisons to Indiana Jones, that is a once in a life time event.

First let me say Alicia Vikander is an actress that is maturing into someone watchable. I enjoyed her in The Man From Uncle & The Danish Girl. I think she'll do fine with more movies ranging from action to drama themes movies. I hope she'll do a sequel to Tomb Raider.

An exhilarating thrill ride filled with amazing action scenes, gripping performances, and a fun/ interesting story. I would have enjoyed a bit more character development but what is there was good enough.

This reboot was pretty good. The best thing about about it was Alicia Vikander. She's a good fit for the role. The Movie Itself could have been a bit better. The Last act gets a bit too silly and unrealistic.
