I thought the story will just like watching video game, even alicia doesn't looks like lara compared with video game, story is believable, acting is okay not the worst. i hope 2nd will be better.

The Angelina Jolie versions are excellent but this newer approach is as good and less comic-book like. The actress will improve with each subsequent installment as she melds into the role as Laura Croft. Movie worth the buy ---- in my opinion.

The producers chose well with Vicander. I can't wait for the next one in the series. The extras were very Interesting. You might want to watch them before the movie to see what she had to go through to be able to perform the stunts in the movie!

If you like the video games, you will like this. If you loved the most recent game origin reboot, you will really like this. If you want to see how physically fit Alicia V is, you will love this.

The original Lara Croft, Tomb Raider films with Angelina Jolie were great. This update is more realistic, less comic book like and brings a bit more humanness to the character. I'm looking forward to the next installment in this new remake.

I enjoyed this movie but not as much as the originals with Angelina Jolie. Not sure how this lines up with the storyline of the video game but it changes the story line from the original movies.

As I watched this movie, it kept bringing the vibe from the recent videogames that were released. Thought the movie was good, just hoped there was some more of a magic kind of thing going on.

This movie shows all too strongly its video game origin. There's a lot of action, a lot of running out of crashing structures just in the nick of time, and not much devotion to portraying any depth of character. The Angelina Jolie movies did a better job of conveying an interesting Lora Croft. Alicia Vikander can be great in conveying interesting characters as Ex Machina and the last Bourne movies show. Here, we don't get anything more than a very fit Vikander doing a lot of acts of derring-do, a female Indiana Jones but not as interesting as Indy.

This movies has plenty of action and suspense throughout with a great story. It'll keep you on the edge of your seat when you see how real some of these stunts are and the physical demand it takes to pull them off.

We watched this movie last week and were extremely impressed with the 4K transfer of this DVD. I have both versions of this movie and found the story line and CGI better then AJ version. Very happy with this purchase and movie choice.

Highly entertaining with lots of depth. Wife really liked it as well. Not too over the top in its approach of the story.

I don't believe that anyone could replace Angelina Jolie, however this movie was just as action pack and dramatic as the original. It had a good story line that set the stage of Lara Croft.

New/latest adaption of the Tomb Raider video game series, this reboot staring Alicia Vikander was done pretty well to portray how Laura Croft became the "Tomb Raider."

Love this movie! Such a good action packed ride that stays true to the game. And it looks absolutely amazing in 4k - hope they keep up the series with Alicia Vikander in the lead!

A really good movie it didn’t take long to get to the point of the movie. I think they chick did a good job playing lara croft. She made it her own and not trying to be like Angelina Jolie

My granddaughters and I saw this in the theaters (of course only after having them watch the original Tomb Raiders). I don’t like spoiler alerts on movies, lets just say we all enjoyed it and did not think twice about purchasing the movie

I did like this version about Lara as a survivor using her knowledge passed down from her dad and her studies for this film and it was pretty cool to see her using primitive weapons and her ingenuity instead of a pair of .45's this time.

After seeing this movie, I would have to say that the original Tomb rader was a little bit better. I guess I was expecting too much from this movie. Lots of Action and daring stunts but I think the script could have been better written.

Very good Movie, Alicia Vikander performed very well, However No one can beat Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft. Due to the advancement in Technology this movie had Excellent special effects.

Comparison to earlier Lara Croft movies is obvious and this film falls flat in comparison in story and direction but still watchable so purchased it during thanksgiving sale for $6.
