An Amazing home gym perfect for those who want to keep in shape and have weird work hours or have imkids to take care of , Best Buy gave a better price option than the company website , free installation , and 2 day delivery . Company wanted to charge for installation and had a 3 week waiting period . A great buy. From Best Buy !!

We have had Tonal for about 2 months and it is the most amazing piece of workout equipment I have ever used. It's like having your own personal trainer at home. It is worth the cost.

Really great for a well-rounded workout

I own a Tonal and absolutely love it. I previously owned a Universal type weight-lifting machine. The difference between that and the Tonal? Tonal allows a much broader variety of exercises, instructors lead you through the exercises which is way more motivating, and the machine automatically adjusts the resistance levels for you. This results in a much more robust workout. With Tonal you have three choices of selecting your workout routine: pick your own individual exercises (bench price, lat pull-downs, squats, etc.), take an individual class (such as a live or recorded 20 to 60 minute class), or take a workout program (which consists of multiple weeks of classes). I love doing the programs because I have a commitment to keep over time. Another great thing about Tonal is it's "smarts." The machine figures out how strong you are after running you through a few test exercises. After that, you never have to set weights for an exercise. For example, if you are taking a class and it requires chest flies and tricep extensions, Tonal will know what your resistance should be and automatically set it for you as you move through each exercise. Another great feature is that the weights will automatically lighten up if Tonal sees that you are struggling to complete a set. To take classes or programs (and to have your weights automatically set by Tonal), you have to pay a monthly membership fee. I decided to look at the monthly fee as an investment in my long-term health. You either pay to stay fit now or you pay later in life with higher medical bills (sad but true). Finally, the instructors are great. They explain the proper way to do the exercises and are very motivating, even when things get hard. They lead each class with a variety of exercises on and off tonal. I have a Peleton too, but honestly, I get a much better and well-rounded workout with Tonal. You might not think that lifting would make you out of breath, but sometimes the Tonal workouts give me a better cardio workout that the stationary bike. One final note on installation - normally, Tonal recommends (maybe even requires) their own installation. However, I did it myself and it was fairly easy. If you can install a TV wall mount on your wall, you can install a Tonal.

Best at home workout anyone could ask for

I purchased this last year and I love it. Reasons why I purchased a Tonal was: 1. Unlimited HouseHold Profiles - 2. Saved Workout Progress - 3. I get to workout at home and not have to travel to the gym in the snow. - 4. Basically an unlimited workout library. - 5. My gym costs more then the membership does. I do want to advise that the membership is right under $60 bucks a month. This is not cheap but if you have a 4 member family like I do, that equals out to be around $15 PER MEMBER. So it works out for me. I also love the idea of being able to increase and track your progress without any writing. This machine can keep track and increase weight, notify your power increase and has has features to improve posture. Check this out if you wany a great way to workout at home!

We have had our Tonal for nearly two years. We purchased our Tonal before Best Buy started selling them. My strength has increased by over 30% despite an injury that set me back for six months. My wife and son also use it, improving our overall fitness within our family tremendously. We’re delighted with our purchase and recommend Tonal to everybody.

Had our second Tonal installed recently. This time delivered and installed by Geek Squad who did a fantastic job. The upfront price of Tonal is a tough pill to swallow. However, consider the costs of going to a gym (factor in your time, gas, etc), and it's easy to see how the cost can be justified. I enjoy using Tonal and the variety of programming they offer, and consistently have awesome workouts on it.

Purchased a Tonal with Geek Squad install. Installers had no idea how to do the install. After reading the directions, even though they said they had been trained, they installed it too low on my wall. The Tonal arms would contact the floor and not allow the arms to go all the way down. After the installers left I tried to use the Tonal and was not able to due to the arms touching the floor. Had to have to installers come back and raise the Tonal to the correct height leaving visible holes in my wall due to raising the bracket higher. Best Buy should properly train their employees when it comes to installing Tonal.

Order, delivery, and installation through Best Buy’s Geek Squad went great! They arrived promptly during my scheduled delivery day and time window. The installers were very friendly and knowledgable. The Tonal itself has been an amazing product so far, the workouts I’ve completed have been fun and challenging. Can’t wait to keep working out and highly recommend this for your home gym!!

Installers were professional. They are new to installing tonal but did their due diligence and educate themselves on the installation process and explaining the product to me. Have yet to try product but received good service so far. I wish I had more specific direction to the service agreement in place with this product though.

I have worked out with Tonal for more than a 1 year. Tonal requires you to subscribe to their service for 1 year when you purchase a Tonal. This makes sense as it forces you to try all the classes and features so you can get the most of what works best for you and allows you to learn how to use all of Tonal. Tonal also allows the user to create personal custom workouts. I assumed that once my required year of subscription service was complete that I would be able to still use the workouts that I created and that Tonal would still maintain its basic functions. What they do NOT make clear is that after 1 year, if you decide that you cancel your subscription, you not only lose their content, but they make the Tonal almost unusable. I have Custom Workouts that I built and they will not work. I own a tonal, a computer based workout machine and it will do nothing but allow you to maually increase the weight up and down and track your reps. Basic features, like using my pre-planned workouts, with built in timed rest periods, type of exercise being done, etc., no longer work. The machine itself is $4000+ and, if you are not prepared to spend and additional $60/month forever, I would not recommend purchasing this. As an aside, it is highly recommended to purchase a long term warranty the Tonal has some delicate parts and if you do not have an extended warranty you may be in trouble. If paying $60/month forever is an issue for you, I would recommend finding a good, high quality pulley machine that may cost you a little more up front and take up a little more space, but, once you own it, you do not owe money forever or have to pay for it to work properly (and if it breaks, it is easy to fix). I would have given Tonal 5 stars if it was not almost unusable without the subscription. I really enjoyed working out with my Tonal. Very useful. I did like the classes, but after a few months I stopped using them and ended up sticking with my Customer Programmed workouts and never looked back. It keeps track of your weights, reps, rest times and more. There are so many exercises you can use it for. For more on how it works, you can watch their sales videos and see what they are selling and it is fairly accurate. It is a good product and worth the purchase price... BUT - If they did create a sales video that showed you what you get without the subscription, NO ONE WOULD EVER PURCHASE A TONAL. There are reviews on Youtube (Search: "Tonal when you cancel the Subscription") that I wish I had watched prior to purchase. Their video classes with the varied personal trainers are good and IF YOU LIKE/USE them, paying $60 per month is not expensive (even a value), but if you do not want to use those classes and cancel your subscription, to repeat, Tonal will make the function of the machine almost useless... essentially a bricked device. Why don't they have a tiered subscription? Being forced to pay for something that you purchased at a premium is a hard ask, but if they had a $20/month basic function subscription tier I would pay it to not have my Tonal in Bricked Status. BUY - If you are ok with paying $60/month (or more) forever. It can be a great workout machine that fits in a small space. Just know what the real cost is. SKIP IT - If you do not want to pay $60/month forever

This at home gym includes access to live classes. Weekly programs and health metrics. There are 2 negative about this device that i want to point out. 1st galaxy devices will not pair, this needs to get addressed quickly. 2nd without the monthly plan you lose all access to this gyms features.

I love my Tonal! I use it 3-4 times per week and I’ve lost 12 lbs in 2 months. There is an amazing tonal community on Facebook. I’ve completed 4 programs and enjoyed all of them. My weights are set and increased for me depending on performance. I am a planner and would take more time planning my workouts than actually doing them. With this, I save so much time. It’s so easy to use. I work out at home, no driving to a gym. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

Could very well replace the gym

Covid hit, gyms close. Growing up a gym rat, and having that as my routine through life, that sucked. I purchased Tonal in April of 2020, cancelled my gym membership, and haven't looked back. Over 3 years later, this is still my routine, 3 to 4 days a week. There's a lot of info, and opinions regarding Tonal. For me, it replaced the need to go to the gym. Is it perfect? No, but the gym doesn't have all the equipment I like either. In the end, working out at home, on my time, is worth so much more. I always gauge worthiness of the item on if I'd buy it again. If this broke tomorrow (I hope it doesn't), but I would get it again.
