Customers frequently mention the enjoyable gameplay, positive nostalgia, and great music as highlights of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2. Many appreciate the game's portability and the quality of the remake. While some found the controls challenging and the resolution lower than expected on certain platforms, the overall reception is overwhelmingly positive.

The 5 stars is for the games. I love these games. What I don’t love is that Best Buy doesn’t display the correct image of this product. I own this game digitally on my Switch. I love this game so much I wanted a physical copy to own for my collection but this isn’t that. It’s a cartridge with a REQUIRED DOWNLOAD. I will be returning it because I don't need another digital copy. If you don’t own this game I highly recommend it. It’s really fun.

I absolutely love this game.
I got it for an amazing price from Best Buy and it was just as amazing as I hoped it was.
All the amazing nostalgia in a completely remastered game.
Love having this on my Switch so I can play anywhere.

I came into the world of THPS at the 3rd installment on PS2 and this is such a great nostalgia trip. I went with the switch version to have the ability to travel with it and it certainly holds up. Sure you lose some of FPS smoothness and textures, but this is a great iteration and still looks fantastic. There’s a lot here to enjoy.

Not a real cartridge, just a download.

It isn't an actual cartridge. Just a digital download with cartridge DRM. The Bestbuy listing does not have the "Download required" sticker on the listing.

I love it. I played the crap out of this on dreamcast in college. Still a great game and I’ll pick this up before newer games I have Graphics are great, soundtrack is the best video game soundtrack ever. Only gripe is that I thought I’d put it in and shred like I did back on dreamcast, but I think the controls are a little more sensitive/accurate than back in the say.

5 stars for the port itself. I have this game on Series X, and was worried about the performance prior to purchase. However I'm happy to say that, despite the 30fps, the port is a absolutely incredible. It's is extremely smooth, and the graphics look amazing for the system. It's probably the best modern console ports I've seen. And again, don't be concerned about the framerate. As someone who has played it at 120fps on Series X, I can honestly say that it feels really good on Switch at 30fps. It may seem weird but it's one rare game where maybe I prefer it at 30fps because the original PS1 games are ingrained in my muscle memory. It's truly a triumph. BUT beware, the physical release has a 10Gb download required for some features, the final build is not on the cart. Upon loading without the download the game was playable, but after the patch the resolution and performance are noticably better.

Great game. Really hits the nostalgia feels. Lol. But the controls do feel slightly diffrent. Little harder to land tricks. But still wonderful game. Really enjoyed going back and playing some of these areas again.

Stays fairly true to the originals, except gameplay is unbelievably smooth and graphics are ridiculous compared to original releases. There’s been a few tweaks like swapping some of the original skaters for more modern ones, and different music tracks. All in all though it’s great to see a childhood favorite get a remaster of this quality.

I was so excited to see that they finally brought this to the Switch. It has brought back a lot of memories from years ago when I played the originals. It’s good to see these older games redone. It looks great and plays great. My son loves playing it with me.

This is a great remaster of the first two games. The graphics are decent for the switch, and the gameplay is smooth. I recommend waiting until it's on sale for $20 (which is when I purchased the game).

Bought enough of these for 4 kids ages 6 to 12. I was trying to get them into a game that years ago got me into gaming. They love it and they have been playing multiplayer on it. It is a great game
