Update the game online and some issues are fixed.

You can download an update from XBOX Live that will fix some things, but the game still feels like a budget version of a PS1 Tony Hawk game. If you like skateboarding or skateboarding games, there is enough here to work once you update the game to justify a budget price if you see it at one.
