My daughter wanted to go analog, and this was her entry to that world. It had all the parts, hooked up easily via Bluetooth or through provided RCA cables (the cables sounded significantly better), and gave her all of that vinyl warmth that grown men with beards have been crowing about. Now she's free to pay $24.99 for LPs that people of my generation sold to one another for $2 in 1992.

I bought this after having a Crosley for about 2 years. I had a hard time playing my newer records on my Crosley, but this one plays them perfectly. The sound is great. I only wish that the Bluetooth speaker worked better. I could be sitting right next to it with my device and it is choppy.

Does the job- transferring songs off old albums to digital files for use on phone and other devices

Really well built, excellent turntable. Just wish the speaker quality was a little better. But that’s just an audiophile being picky, perfect for anyone looking to start a vinyl collection

    Deceptive, but functional

Looking at the picture of the turntable I thought it had pitch control and a counter weight. Not so. It has its own speakers which is not obvious or in the description. They are small and poor quality. On the upside there so are many output and input options. It can be connected to a stereo system or powered speakers. You can record via USB. You can connect via line in, USB, and Bluetooth and listen to all of these via your speakers. I got this on sale and feel it was a good value. Not sure I would have paid$150 for it though. For that price I could have had pitch control and the counter weight.

    Not Impressed

When the description said that the unit's "Bluetooth capabilities let you pair the phonograph to an external sound system" it sounds like you can play back records on the unit via the Bluetooth to an external stereo system like a Bluetooth enabled receiver. The Bluetooth only connects external devices to the turntable's built in speakers. As for the actual performance, the turntable does not seem to be able to keep a constant speed as it seems to frequently slow down and speed up while playing an LP. There does not seem to be any kind of pitch control

I purchased this unit and another top (technica) brand and the Toshiba was a better value and comparable sounding.
