I have been using this unit for a while and it has been very reliable and trouble free.

Purchased -- 15 days later drive failed, one day over time peroid to return to Best Buy contacted Toshiba for factory warrenty They gave me rma # -- one catch they don't pay shipping and they only except UPS or Fedex as carriers so $15.00 additional cost in shipping. Get e- mail from Toshiba Factroy yesterday That the Warrenty is expired on the drive that I had for 15 days. They said so sad we wish could help but maybe you should contact Best Buy Hard to Believe Best Buy wasn't aware 3 year factory was expired no wonder they were clearnce them out--Be smarter than me walk away from the Best Buy deal on this drive.

This external drive is working perfectly on my windows 10 computer.

I bought this item to have a back up to my Mac desktop, thew format it gave me was unacceptable - it was nothing like the Data from the Mac. It was returned to the Best Buy store

2.5TB with this price is awesome! It also comes with a Mac NRFS driver, which is a bonus of 25$(not sure the exact price). The design and material are pretty good!

I have bought and used several of the Toshiba Canvio Connect II drives and have been very pleased with the functionality and ease of setup/use.

Using for additional storage for Xbox one. Games load quickly and have had no issues.

This hard disk is good as compare with memory and price , must have one

easy to use, not fussy. good size for genealogy files.

It works awesome. Once formatted, never has had any problems as some the high end did(many lost data and a simple drop, all is lost). This is my fourth one and with all the dropping and falling over, nothing has been lost.

Lots and LOTS of space for such a small form factor. I have it hooked up to my router which allows me to use it as a network storage. The fact that this drive does not require a power connector makes it really easy and convenient to use. It's very fast as well. I replaced my 1TB with this 2.5TB and copying files transferred at over 80MB/sec with no problems. No guarantee on the speed, as some computers may have USB 2.0 ports. I was using the USB 3.0 ports on my laptop to transfer. Another nice thing about this drive is it responds to sleep commands when not in use. The blue activity/on light goes off when it goes to sleep so I know it works. My old drive used to run and run, and as a result, it ran hot most of the time. This drive only spins up when in use so I can leave it plugged in all day long.

This drive is still working for me. I use it on a daily basis.

Very stable and reliable, use it almost every day. Love it!

Used as an external drive on Xbox One, used very little. Died in just over 1y year. I have other external drives that have lasted for 10 years. May change review if Toshiba replaces.
