I was looking for a small TV for the kitchen. I didn't want to spend a lot of money. But I was not happy with the quality of the picture. The colors were terrible, like orange skin tones. I adjusted the color, but by the time I got the colors to the point where they no longer looked unnatural, they were dull instead. I returned the TV and was fortunate enough to find an open box LED/LCD for a very good price. At over 3 inches deep, the Toshiba is no thicker than many other models, but after trading for an extra slim LED I'm much happier to have something with such a slimmer profile to mount on my kitchen wall. On the positive side, the Toshiba I felt had fairly good sound and a large number and selection of input/output ports.

when i first got it, i was a bit surprised about how small it was. then i got used to the tv, been having it for 3 days now and i must say its a great tv! a lot of features and hdmi ports etc. im a bit disappointed in the lighting for the tv but its probably because i havent upgraded my direct tv to hd yet but so far so good and the price is just icing on the cake. also when you get close to the tv, some weird backround is seen
