I wonder if you can provide more details about your experience with the touchscreen. Can you describe the specific symptom(s) that lead you to consider it buggy?
If this laptop was brand new when you posted your review then it's likely that Windows Update had been busy downloading & installing updates. That's typically the case with brand new systems, and if so it will tax initial performance until the updating process is completed, which should be done within a day if the laptop is left turned on and connected to the Internet.

I think it's great. I've only had it a month but so far I've had no issues. I had a Dell before and didn't love it like I seem to with the Toshiba brand. I also really like that the keyboard lights up. Very nice

Really frustrated with my new purchase. I bought one, had to return it because the computer would not go to the start up screen when I turned it on. Exchanged for another one and the exact same thing happened. Now I am told I should get a different one. Not happy at all.

This symptom is most likely related to Windows Update replacing the video driver during the initial Windows 10 configuration process. If so, this issue is not unique to Toshiba or this model and can be completely avoided by not connecting to the Internet until after Windows 10 has completed its first-time setup process. Once that process is complete and you're looking at the Windows 10 desktop you can go ahead and connect to the Internet, at which point (or shortly thereafter) Windows Update will run automatically.

We had intermittent trouble connecting to wireless routers. After several trips to the geek squad we concluded that it was a software problem in a driver. Geek squad arranged a trade for a different model which is working fine. Thanks to geek squad for great service!

I've owned this laptop for little than a month and from Day 1 it was not working correctly. Found out that I was sold one with a failing hard drive. I'm still waiting for it to blow my mind but I wouldn't know since I had to send it out to get repaired.

The computer had several problems including a bad wireless card which Toshiba would only address if I sent the brand new computer to them for "review". Thank you Best Buy for exchanging it for a different brand.

Toshiba has extensive quality controls built into our manufacturing processes, but occasionally something can go wrong that couldn't be foreseen in testing. In such cases, we have defective new product return agreements in place with our authorized retailers to ensure that customers have a window of opportunity to return alleged defective products for replacement.
