Unfortunately, we did not open the box for several days following delivery and by the time we realized there were problems with the unit, the in-store return option had expired. Upon opening the box, it was determined that the side panels of the unit were installed incorrectly. We were able to fix their placement but in doing so noticed that several of the internal locking clips were bent or broken leading us to believe this item had been a previous return. On the first hot day, the unit worked fine for the first hour and then stopped working. The error code indicated that a repairmen should be contacted. Local Best Buy indicated we had to deal with manufacturer since in-store return window had passed and we did not purchase an extended warranty. Reached out to manufacturer but as yet no response. Very disappointed all around.

Air-conditioner puts out effective amount of cool air for our living room, dining room and kitchen (approximately 600 ft.²). Moderate noise level. Somewhat complicated to a assemble but worth it. Have yet to evaluate heater function.
