This service really gives me peace of mind knowing that if I need help whether it would be remotely or in store they have my back. With the recent COVID-19 if I had a virus or questions they have a number you can call to get help. Even the in home services (which is a discounted price with this service) they are very nice and very helpful. They are also respectful of your home. Each time we had them here is was a wonderful experience all the way around. We have gone with Geek squad protection for over 10 years and not once have we been disappointed by them.

Having a membership in Best Buy Total Tech Support program gives me a feeling of security. Whatever situation I encounter or question that comes up with computers, cell phone, software, etc., I can call the Geek Squad at the local Best Buy and the representative walks me through the process of satisfying the situation. The Geek technicians are well versed in their area of responsibility and very friendly to those of us who lack the technical knowledge. I would not be without this support.

I've had a Geek Squad service contract for several years and moved to Total Tech Support last year (2021). I use the Geek Squad regularly for everything from solving problems to setting up my new computer and they do great work fast. I am most impressed by what they are able to do remotely so I don't have to make a trip to the store. Always a pleasure to work with the Geek

this is the second time but I have the Best Buy membership and it pays for itself. I am able to get the help. I need in store to learn about the products that I am purchasing as well as the professional teaching that I can apply at home. I also get two years warranty on my products it pays for itself right away.

I have 16 devices of which 9 needed some sort of tech help in the last year. Waited to write review to see if service met expectations. It exceeded expectations everytime. Schedule appt is easy, always ready at appointment time, and clear explanations every time. I would have thrown away some of the PC's repaired, rebuilt, saved from hacks and malware, and needed new hard drives. With 5 kids in school, this service pays for itself over and over. Discounts on parts is wonderful too. I will always have this service without fail (pun intended).

Geek Squad help is great. Data swap/Computer startup and tune-ups/virus removal are worth it.
We also used it for car stereo and remote starter install.
But the in-home services are expensive and over-hyped. Installers have sucked for us so far. They complained about having to wear masks because of Covid. And we ended up paying a lot of extra $$ for "required upgrades" on our dishwasher install. We were at his mercy. Pay him over and above the the TOTAL-TECH advertised installation cost, Install it myself to the existing outlet. Or get somebody else to do it and have a new, uninstalled dishwasher sitting in my kitchen. And that was after the 1st machine was delivered smashed to hell. Our gas dryer install was done without extra cost. But they also bitched about having to wear masks due to Covid. And when i asked installer if he was going to run a test cycle before he left. He said "No were just going to hook it up and leave... Of course we're going to test it!". I don't need the sarcasm. I was asking because i could pretty much tell he didn't like his job and wanted do it as quickly as possible so he could take his mask off. Not impressed with any of the home services we have gotten so far.
Also. There was a time when, during Covid, In store and in home services were not even available. So i was paying for tech/delivery/install services that could NOT be rendered. I had to pick up appliances in the parking lot. Deliver/install new/remove old ones myself. Even though i was paying for a plan to help me with that. Not impressed and we will most likely be discontinuing this coverage when it is time for renewall

In my past experience, I never bothered with this type of purchase. However, as technology increases and everything is "connected" I find that it is so much easier to have this support, than not. I'm a senior and live in a smart home (dumb owner) and need all the help I can get. I don't need the frustration. It gives me peace of mind that I can continue to live in this connected life. It pays for itself and includes appliance service and for items not bought at Best Buy.

If you need help setting something up, like a backup drive, or just advice on what to buy for a new home network, this subscription is worthwhile. The tech can come to your site and give you useful advice. I found the people I talked to were very knowledgeable and knew what I was looking for and were able to give me very useful advice. In my opinion, a single site visit makes the subscription worthwhile. Any other visits just make it that much more of a value.

I'm glad I purchased the Total Tech Support membership because unfortunately I have had to call or visit a Best Buy store more frequently this year, with a new PC. Hacking or Microsoft changes in software seem to be causing me more operational difficulties this year. Changes to my Office 365 software pull-down options for 'Send' by email, to a flash drive, or 'Export' seem to have disappeared causing me difficulty with receipt messages to other companies. Now new documents are more difficult to upload on 'File'.

I love the Geek Squad!!! I can't say enough good about them. They have saved me so many times. Having this has saved the cost of me having to purchase an entire new computer. I got hacked with some sort of malware which froze up my computer. I immediately called them and within an hour they had the malware off and my computer running again. They have also cleaned up my computer, tuned it up and solved various problems. Everyone I've spoken with has been extremely knowledgeable. I would never be without this protection.

I used it for the first time about two years ago. I had a problem with my HP Desktop, and I was totally fed up with Fry's Tech Support. I was met by a very knowledgeable Geek technician. He took care of my PC, and it's been fine ever since. I therefore renewed my support and used it this year to have Geek custom build the ultimate gaming machine for my son. The computer was ready ahead of schedule, and a knowledgeable tech demonstrated it for us, walked us through some of the software installations and answered all my son's questions.

Honestly, this has been a lifesaver. I spent a lot of money on an Asus computer and had some issues with very sticky keys and damage to the keyboard after letting a friend use it. And later problems with the power not turning on properly With this protection plan, Best Buy performed all repairs for free and my laptop is working just as well as day one! I definitely think this protection plan is worth the cost. You never know when an accident could happen where you drop your computer or accidentally spill something on it.

I purchased the Total Tech Support membership after returning from an overseas deployment in 2018. Now that I have it, I've told everyone I know, even people I barely know; that this is one of the best kept secrets in America. I mean, if you own technology, who else is going to help you keep it functioning like the Total Tech Support team. In addition, the annual updates and renewal are a reminder to keep the funds in your account to ensure you maintain this great investment.

I've been using this service for several years now. Not only do they help you with your tech issues and updates on your electronics but you also get discounted pricing on many products purchased through the Best Buy website (I got around 50% off on 2 of my automatic car starters). It's well worth the yearly fee and I have peace of mind knowing that I can get my products fixed without paying anything extra.

This is my second year purchasing a Total Tech Support membership. Last year I used this service to have a Kenwood receiver paired with 2 Kicker 4"x6" speakers in the dash of my truck, 2 Kicker 6 1/2" speakers in the doors and a Kicker hideaway Subwoofer in back of the cab along with a Viper DS4 remote start with the security add. Next I would like to add a set of Kicker 6"×9" speakers in back of the cab. All work was done free of change after purchasing a yearly membership. Well worth the price.

This is great; as long as you find reasons to use it. It never seems anything goes wrong when you have a membership to help out, but that isn’t the fault of the plan; perhaps all of my products are just great.
My one quarrel is it can be difficult to determine Best Buy’s support for things you need it for. I purchased a new garage door opener and figured it could be installed for me since the technology is in their wheelhouse. However, I was disappointed to find that it could not be installed because it was more of a mechanical job.
Perhaps Best Buy could specifically mark products that you can use this package with.

I think this was one of my best purchases about warranties and protections on all of my electronic devices. Bestbuy already has a great Geek Squad Protection, and to top it off the Total Tech Support just makes it perfect! It's like having health insurance and Option D to cover out of pockets where you have nothing to worry about. If you haven't tried it you are missing out, it's always nice to try and if it doesn't work for you then I don't know what else will.

This plan pays for itself! It is SO helpful to have and for starters, you get Webroot with this plan for up to 10 devices! This is a lifesaver, the way you can bring items in for repair with ease and included with the plan and if it's not included, it's way more affordable to do or repair vs if you didn't have Total Tech Support! If you don't have it already, I'd go and subscribe to it yearly NOW! The Geek Squad and Best Buy associates are so helpful when it comes to all things support, and even explaining Total Tech Support when I have questions!

When I Purchased a new desk top computer a little over a year ago I decided to purchase Total Tech support since it covered all computer devices in house. Did not make use of support until recently. They worked on my old laptop, but slow issues with laptop still occurred so decided to buy new laptop, recently received an email about having total tech come to house and assist with any issues occurring in the house, like issues with WiFi, and initially thought I would have them come to house but then discovered that this would be an additional cost. Sorry but I’m already paying a yearly fee. It is nice to have this support when you need it. I really need to use it more to justify the yearly fee that I pay.

Love this service. I have and purchase a lot of technology in a year and this service makes that very cost effective and takes the hassle out of maintaining it. If I purchase something I know Total Tech gives me “free” delivery and set up and if something goes wrong with a computer or TV or network I can get “free” service either in my home or in the store. I think this is my 4th year of buying the service.
