    SCAM - Worst Customer Service

    I had Total Wireless for nearly a year with 3 phones on my plan. EVERY single month there is a problem when it is time to renew. Two phones stay on and one (the main number) is disconnected. It takes me an AVERAGE of 2 hours, each month, dealing with customer service to get that phone back on. This month I paid on Saturday and my phone was immediately cut off as usual. I spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone with customer service. My phone was turned back on the following day. Two days later they disconnected it again??????? Now they are telling me that I need to buy a new phone and that I was never on their service and they have no record of the number that I have purchased from them and used on their service for almost a year. I have proof of payment for 10 months of service. this is my business line and I cannot take it to another service if it is not active

    Terrible Treatment Of Customer

    We have been with total wireless for 10 years plus. Last October I purchased a iPhone 6 plus, unbeknownst to me that I set myself up for extreme difficulty. In February 2020 we decided to go with consumer cellular for our phone provider. When we tried to switch over my iPhone it was locked, although total wireless kept telling me it was not locked. After 4 hours plus going back and forth with total wireless and consumer wireless, I finally had a American representative from total wireless who informed me my phone was locked and it cannot be unlocked until October of this year, can't wait. I had no clue they were going to do that, and so far have found no way out. Two weeks ago my wife kept getting text messages her service was going to be discontinued. We ignored it because we have been on autopay forever. Well her service was disconnected and I had to spend another hour on the phone getting it rectified. Now they have come back and were going to disconnect my service and I had to spend another hour on the phone with someone from India and had to sign up for new service, no contract. If you want to be hasseled and, enjoy talking to people from India and the phillipines who I cannot understand half the time. Sign up for total wireless, other wise steer clear of them.

    This is the absolute worst phone provider ever! Awful customer service and live to hang up on you and not call back afterwards. Many times on the phone for hours with no resolution of problem and then disconnected with no response or help. Also bought an IPhone XR and had in service with them for over a year. Their system was messed up and said it was activated in April of this year but it was activated in reality last year in November. I gave it to my son for an early X-Mas present. I showed corporate that I bought the phone last November. After talking to 2 managers they said too bad and I have to pay the unlocking fee. So I did, and I took my 4 phone lines to Spectrum today. Adios to the absolute worst and most awful phone service provider of my 40 year life. Do not mess with this phone company unless you want an absolute headache every time you need to make a change or get help. Also get prepared to hear roosters crowing in the background nearly every time you call support because it's obviously contracted help from other areas in the world. I wish I could give negative stars because they don't deserve any. Trust me and my family when we tell you go elsewhere now! Save yourself the headaches and frustration. No person should ever have to deal with crap like this when they faithfully pay for service every month. I pray you find service elsewhere and lower your BP.     I purchased a phone and the sim card because it said no contract and it's correct there's no contract to continue service but they lock the phone for a year so I can't activate it with anyone else. Customer service was horrible.

    I have been with Total Wireless for four years, until now. If you use this company, PRAY nothing ever goes wrong, you want to switch a phone, your phone breaks and needs replacing, etc. etc. etc. ABSOLUTE ABISMAL CUTOMER SUPPORT, BOTH ONLINE AND OVER THE PHONE. The horrible website is an absolute joke; though it makes out like you can do things simply online, IT NEVER WORKS! Then you call, and find yourself talking to an English-as-a-second-language tech support that you can't understand, who knows only how to read from pre-written queue card. PATHETIC! This company takes your money and bathes in it, and puts NOTHING back into customer service or any real quality! IF YOU BUY THIS AFTER READING HERE, YOU GET WHAT YOU DESERVE!

    Back-to-Back faulty phones

    I switch Services because I accidentally ordered a phone from your carrier through the Walmart website. Both cell phones that I bought do total Wireless have shut down on me. They'll work for a couple months, then I'll plug them into the charger and then they never turn on again! I have switched Chargers and USB cords. It's crazy! I've had AT&T Sprint and Cricket. This is the first time this has ever happened to me. And I've had this experience back to back within one year. This is terrible.

    I bought the $35 plan and a Best Buy Associate was nice enough to install it for me- except that even he could not get the sim card activated. I tried at home and the first step was to verify that the phone was compatible which it was, yet my sim card still couldn't be activated. I tried calling customer service of Total Wireless who also was no help in getting the plan activated. When I asked for a refund since it wasn't my fault it wasn't working, I was told no. So basically, I just lost $35. Would never recommend.

    Wish there was a zero star rating for this company. Horrible....horrible...horrible. I just spent at least 10 hours between 2 days trying to activate and transfer my account and finally said forget it. I paid for a plan that they could not find. Dealt 4 different people... 3 out of the 4 were completely rude. They kept transferring me. Nobody knew what they were doing. So frustrating. I am out 300$ but that’s worth not dealing with this company. You may pay more for your other service and trust me it’s worth the money instead of using this company!

    Purchased a phone and service from bb for total wireless six mo ago and I paid for the device outright and they now tell me six mo later that I cannot unlock MY phone in which I pay service for how is that even legal cancelled with them after finding this out and had to cancel other carrier too after was all set up and activated bec total w. wouldn't let me unlock MY phone and no one at bb discussed this I had no prior knowledge until I spoke to total wireless today about unlocking device shame on these big companies always screwing the little one

    If you want your phone number to get ported out unauthorized along with other thousands of numbers go ahead and get their service. By far, the worst provider with the most incompetent support representatives, who will just make you wait indefinitely without actually being able to help and will keep lying to you the whole time. Please don't waste your money and time with this company, they don't deserve it.

    If you have 4 hour to wait on hold this is perfect service for you. Dont worry though... they will totally screw up you plan and you can play the game again. Customer service is garbage

    Worthless, if from outside the U.S. My friend came from Bogota and bought this. The ONLY carrier it will work on is VERIZON. Just threw away $60.00 dollars.
