I've had this camera for nearly a month now and it's a very good outdoor camera. It's pretty consistent. You may miss a notification here every once in awhile depending on the motion sensitivity setting of the camera. You can set it to record a personal greeting or other sounds like a barking dog or just use the default tone which is a chime. It has an alarm also and 2 way audio which is awesome. I can spot delivery drivers leaving packages at my door which is key these days due to the increase in online shopping. The view is great on them. The night vision is adequate. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is due to the lack of storage without a paid subscription. After the 14 day trial is up you lose some features and you only get a 2 hr lookback but if you live in a sketchy area you may want to get the paid subscription for 60 dollars a year. Great camera overall.

Looking for an outdoor security camera but don't want a batter camera because they run out of battery fast and it's not always on. Found this Toucan outdoor security camera easy as changing your light bulb and power with my light fixture, it makes my light fixture auto on and off daily with smart lighting control from the free APP. And the 2 way voice communication I get to speak with my son and mail man when they are at front of my door. Love the prerecorded Greeting for deterrence help us avoid unnecessary visitors. I am sharing videos and notification with my wife and my parents so we all feels protected with Toucan.

Without the complicated hardwiring setup, Toucan makes the installation so much easier than I thought. It takes about 3 mins to install to my light fixture then pair with my iPhone. I set the Toucan in the backyard to watch my dog when I am away. A few weeks ago when I was out of town, I saw my dog walked to the backyard in the middle of the night, Toucan alert to my Apple watch and iPhone immediately. I opened and told my dog to go back to the house. Oh, I love this product!

I've been looking for a security camera where it's hardwire and not operated on batteries. This is perfect. If your porch/door light is always on, the camera is always on. Also what is a plus is that there's no obligation for subscription service but it is available. It starts you off with a trial but once that trial is up, you get 2 hours of cloud service for the captured activity videos, you get notifications once there are activity and you can just download them. The Kuna app is pretty much self explanatory, very simple to use.

I got this camera a while ago. I wanted to use it for a couple weeks before posting a review. The video quality is good. It's clear and very fluid. The sound quality is good as well. What I really like is the smart socket that comes with it. There smart socket gave my porch light the ability to turn on when it detects movement. That's the main reason I purchased this camera.

The camera works as advertised. Easy to install, no battery changing required. The push notifications to your phone also work. BUT, the two hours only cloud storage is a big disappointment. I had several cases now that I got a notification while I was sleeping and by the time I wake up and want to check, the recorded video was deleted becuase was after two hours.

All Kuna products are junk. They are of poor quality and do not last more than 2 years. Have had 3 different products all have been replaced because of not working anymore.
