This movie teaches you a lesson be careful what you wish for you might just get it but loose alot more in the process

I watch a trailer for this movie, and then rented it. I instantly needed to purchase this movie after watching. I'm always a sucker for second chance movies. I didn't know there was a book. So, now I am going to get the book and read it.

I'm always looking for a feel good movie and this one delivers... eventually. It is definitely worth sitting through even though it is totally cliched. Kurt Russell is in it! It's one of those movies that makes you think "what if?".

Kurt Russell did an excellent job playing the coach & father. It's a movie we will watch beginning of every football season

I was an extra in this movie, which was shot partially in Coopersville Michigan. You cannot beat the price!

Not for little kids, but the older kids (preteen & up) and adults loved it!

This is such an inspiring film. You don't have to love football to enjoy the film and be inspired. Its a true story as well so it makes it touch the heart all the more.

Found it to be entertaining But would you change things if you could go back to high school?

I happened to catch this playing on a cable movie channel and watched it without knowing anything about it. I was captivated by the story of a middle aged man beaten down by dwelling on the past and what could've been if he had made a different choice earlier in life, and his realization that despite the hardships, his life was what he wanted after all. This is one of those movies that makes you think about your own choices and encourages you to live in the present and not dwell on what could've been. The book that it is based on is also very good and a quick read.

We rented this movie on Red Box when it first came out and thought it was a MUST have movie for our home library!
