Remember the old disaster movies with this classic. Some of the stunts are clumsy; but that's because CGI didn't exist then. These are all real stunts done by real people, folks.

This is probably one of the most famous movie of disasters. This has lots of action and a good story of the people who are in the building who face one of the scariest moments of their life. The movie has a lot of famous people staring in it which isn’t done anymore because of the cost of salaries and CGI effects. The visual effects are excellent in this movie too. A definite collector.

I think that "The Towering Inferno" was one of the greatest classic disaster films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite films of all-time. I really enjoyed all of the action, mystery, suspense and personal drama that kept this film very entertaining and enjoyable. I also think that "The Towering Inferno" had a really great, impressive and amazing cast, plot and personal storylines as well.

"The Towering Inferno" was one of my childhood movie favorites, and I was thrilled to find this old movie on Blu-ray at Best Buy, and at such a great price. Although made over 40 years ago, this film does not disappoint with plenty of drama, action and special effects that still rivals current action movies. I highly recommend!

I saw this at the movie theater when I was a kid and thought it was great, but seeing as an adult it’s just ok.

I watched this as a kid. It scared me to go into tall buildings for a long time. We've all seen it so no review on the movie. But picture- and sound-wise, an amazing upgrade. It was good to see my old buddies Steve and Paul in hi-def.

This was one of the first blockbuster disaster movies for it's time and is just terrific. Just like the Towering Inferno, it's got top notch acting from a fine ensemble cast and the special effects for the time are pretty good. A sprawling epic. And I love the fact that it's over 2 hours long

Definitely too much mushy Star development but great to see in Blue Ray.Great movie for it's day

Irwin Allen was the master of the disaster movie. A lot of exposition at the start until the fire from faulty wiring begins. That's when the movie goes into overdrive and stays that way until the end. Terrific all star cast, really solid looking and sounding blu ray for an older movie. Definitely recommended.

It Was Not A Great Movie But The Acting Was Excellent. watching A building That big Was Burning And Nobody Was Safe. All The Maor Actors Were Excellent They Actually Looked Scared. The Fire Eve looked Real. Don,t Make Movies Like This Anymore

Big names blaze up the marquee of this film. Steve McQueen, Paul Newman, Faye Dunaway and many more! Irwin Allen was a master at bringing great stuff the silver screen and even the small screen. A must have for the blu-ray collection.

Not a favorite but it puts me to sleep so I figure why not.

Great movie it’s been a long time since I saw it. If you have never seen it’s for sure something you don’t want to miss it will put you at the edge of your seat.

Purchase was easy. Received order in faster than expected date ( supposedly was about a 3 week wait and we got in in less than 7 days. Super excited! Good movie from our childhood.

The 1970s big-budget disaster movie. Fantastic script and stunts padded with a phenomenal all-star cast. Paul Newman and Steve McQueen were superheroes in this that never seemed to catch a break. I felt the ending was a little lame based on the rest of the movie but still enjoyable.

This is before CGI and where actors were in class far above the standard seldom seen in today's entertainment.

Old time favorite of my two hollywood legends. I miss these big name actors and actresses together for a movie. Not an Oscar winner but just good old fashioned entertainment!

This is one of my all time favorite movies. The best part of about these Irwin Allen productions is there were a lot of movie stars in the films and this one doesn't dissapoint

A movie filled with great stars of a past generation. The movies deals with Corporate short cuts that cause a loss of life . The old money over safety. It's now 2020 and corporations have not changed much.
