I split this with one of my friends, she took the dvd copies and I took the rest. I have to say I'm very impressed the third installment is a masterpiece to say the least they could've ended the series on a better note. If you do not own all three movies and you have a Blu-ray player I would highly recommend buying this. Even if you don't, you'll still have the DVDs and when you're capable of upgrading to Blu-ray you'll already have the movies.

i would consider myself a grown child, i loved the third toy story. However this review is based on the box set and it is a very neat set. when you remove the cover of the set, it reveals a toy box like in the movie were andy keeps his toys. when you open the lid they are arranged from the first toy story to the third in a foam material. i wish they would have been in seperate cases it would probably protect the discs better. It includes all three movies on blu ray as well as dvd copies as well as digital copies that can be downloaded onto itunes then played on your iphone or video enabled ipods. all in all very cool set. would make a nice gift for people of any age or a gift for yourself .

Here's an essential addition to any Blu-Ray collection. In this set you have all three Toy Story movies, three of the finest animated features ever made. Toy Story was the first theatrical feature to use all CGI animation, and it was a technological marvel for its time (it still holds up). You can see how technology improved over the years from the top quality animation in the first Toy Story to the truly astounding animation in Toy Story 3. In Toy Story 3, the level of detail and the fluidity of animation is beyond belief! The Blu-Ray gives every scene a crisp, clear and sharply defined look. Disney has given us yet another flawless HD experience. Rather than just focus on the animation itself, PIXAR told some great stories and introduced some fantastic characters in these movies. The most promenint characters are Woody, a cowboy doll, and Buzz Lightyear, a super-heroic spaceman action figure. These two have become iconic Disney characters and can stand beside the likes of Mickey Mouse or Pluto as Disney characters. In the first movie, Buzz did not know he was a toy and that made for some great comedy. And Woody shines in the second and third movies. Toy Story 3 also has a nice parody of jailbreak movies. Some older toys, like Mr. Potatohead and Slinky Dog get time in the spotlight as well and are great characters. The extras include animated shorts, some music clips and numerous featurettes on the making of the movies, even some deleted concepts. My favorite extras were the studio stories which tell the tales of what goes on at the PIXAR studios. These movies are perfect family entertainment. Children and adults can all enjoy the Toy Story Trilogy.

When this item first caught my eye, I knew I had to jump on it. My 3-year-old loves Toy Story, but we didn't own any of the movies. When it comes to buying movies, especially those that have sequels, I try to buy the package deal. And is this EVER a package deal?! You get all 3 movies on Blu ray, DVD, and digital copy! And if you've never experienced a Disney/Pixar Blu ray, you are in for a treat. It really makes my 55" LED come to life! We can take the DVD versions and play them on my son's TV or the TV in the car to keep him entertained. And the digital copies can be used on mobile devices like laptops. etc. And my son loves the little toy box that contains all the discs. Get it today!

This box set has it all!! Copies of all three movies on Blu-Ray, DVD and the digital copy makes this a must have. I aways tend to buy movies for the digital copy since it gives me that extra outlet to view them. The Blu Ray versions are phenomenally transferred and really pop off the screen, especially with my LED TV. Only drawback to this set is the flimsy toy box it comes in and they way the discs are stored. It has no durability at all and the discs are packed into foam with no hard plastic shell(s). The box can easily be destroyed with one rip of the top or on solid sit on top of it. I recommend keeping it stored up high to preserve it.

I purchased this trilogy during Christmas for my girlfriend and she loved it!!! The box is somewhat fragile but still nice. The only bad thing about it is each DVD doesn't come in a case. They are stuck in a square piece of foam and that's how they sit. But its great for all ages.

If you are a Toy Story fan you MUST get this! It has all 3 Toy Stories in Blue Ray, DVD, and an electronic copy( I loaded mine on itunes so now I can watch it on my phone or ipod touch!) It even comes in a Toy box, the same one in Andy's room!

Great collection. The combo pack is nice! It would be way better if it had separate DVD boxes instead of the foam piece. It's a pain to put the DVDs inside the foam. The chest material is not sturdy. It feels like cheap material. Overall, love the collection for my 2yr old son. But I wouldn't recommend the chestbox trilogy. I would if it had seprate boxes and better chest material.
