Easy to connect. Requires download of tether app. I highly recommend reading the instructions. It will save you a lot of time lol. I learned the hard way ... couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. Followed the instructions and downloaded the app and it was then easy peasy.

No complaints as far as performance. Due to limited space, I mounted it on my wall, which is fine, but I was forced to mount it so the ethernet cables are sprouting out the top of the unit. Looks goofy IMO, would rather be able to mount it so the cables hang down instead of looping out from the top. Otherwise performance is top notch.

Easy to set up. Love the tether app. Easy to set up with a tp-link range extender to increase signal to my outdoor cameras. Wend from wifi 5 to WiFi 7 with this router. It can handle more smart home devices and has been a noticeable difference in speed and range. Highly recommend if you’re upgrading from WiFi 5.

Had to upgrade from my pre-covid TP-LINK router on an emergency basis.. And it worked fine for me. There is a cheaper version without 2.5G support, but I paid a bit more to have room for possible upgrade. Replacement was mostly seamless. It's been 3 weeks since, so far so good. Oh, and BB price was on par with Amazon - and same day pickup definitely helped.

I recently upgraded to the TP-Link Archer BE3600, and it has been an excellent budget-friendly entry into Wi-Fi 7. Setup was quick and straightforward using the TP-Link Tether app, and the router has been stable and reliable since day one. The performance on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands is impressive, especially at close to medium range. Streaming, gaming, video calls, and downloads all feel noticeably smoother compared to my older Wi-Fi 6 router. I also appreciate the inclusion of dual 2.5GbE ports, which is a great feature at this price point and helps future-proof my network. One of the biggest advantages of the Archer BE3600 is the value for money. It delivers many modern Wi-Fi 7 features without the extremely high price tag normally associated with next-generation routers. The EasyMesh support is also useful for expanding coverage later if needed.

Router works great, the set up instructions were easy to follow and straight to the point. When connecting to the WiFi it works great and my devices connected right away. I didn’t notice much difference on the speed but that could just be me.

This is working very well, with WAY better speed than our 14-year-old Verizon provided router. Note, however: if you have equipment with a coaxial connection, you will need to keep your old router also. Then, connect the Verizon ethernet cable to your new router, and connect that via ethernet cable to the old router.

The reason I purchased this equipment was because I was having issues with internet distribution throughout my home, which is a large two-story house. My children, who use the internet the most because they play on PlayStation, told me they have noticed an improvement in download speed and in their gaming experience. Therefore, the investment in this equipment has been beneficial for me.

Works well for the price. Covers the whole home (4 bdrm, one story) without any drop in signal. Cannot comment on service life, as it has only been in use for just over a month. Would recommend.

TP-Link routers deliver very good performance for most home users at competitive prices. They hit the sweet spot between reliability and cost, making them a go-to option for everyday wireless networking—but they aren’t perfect for power users or enterprise-level setups.

Very easy upgrade from my older linksys router. Seems to have a longer signal range through the house. Good at transmitting wireless data with similar high speeds as its wired speeds.

I think the product meets my needs. However, the UI interface of the admin console could use an improvement instead of the basic presentation. I think it can be redesigned to be more intuitive if I am comparing it with the other admin console of the other routers I use.
