I have Alexa, Siri, Nest, Hue, and August inside my home. I wanted to get colored lights for outside like I have inside, but hue cost wayyyy too much for that in a house I won’t be in forever. Instead I found lights that change via remote, but thanks to this plug I am able to turn off and on the lights via Alexa! Since it’s a 2 plug, I also can turn on and off my water fountain. I set it up as “fountain” and “string lights” and created the room “patio” for the set. So saying something as easy as, “Alexa, turn on patio” sets the entire mood outside. My boyfriend loves showing people that my backyard is controlled by Alexa. I would definitely recommend. The Kasa app works well too, I just don’t have any other compatible devices and it’s just one more app to go through. Using Alexa is much easier, and when away from home I can just use the Alexa app to control everything.

Not only is the kasa family super easy to work with, this product is no exception. Use this for your Christmas blow ups, lights, yard lights. Old fashion timers are a thing of the past. Google and alexa voice controlled. Kasa app is very easy and straightforward to use and set up. I recommend all tp link kasa products, you can't go wrong.

Initially, I had a difficulty connecting to our network. Make sure to read and follow the instructions carefully. Once its connected, it works very well. The app is also easy to use. I was able to use this as both an indoor and outdoor plug.

Bought two of these to control my Christmas lights. One of the outlets I use is pretty remote from where the router is in my house but it didn't really have problems with that. Occasionally I'd have to ask Google to turn it on or off a couple of times, but it would always reconnect pretty quickly if it had a blip in the connection. Setup through the app was pretty simple, too.

We've had TP-Link Kasa plugs for a while now, but it was our first time choosing an outdoor smart plug. Naturally, we decided to give it a try considering that we already know the quality and performance from this brand. The smart plug exceeded our expectations. It is durable in a multitude of temperatures and weather conditions. The connectivity is responsive and automatic scheduling functions worked great. Overall, best outdoor plug option out there.

This works great! My only concern is that there's no outlet cover to protect against the elements as I've seen on similar products but It's winter now in Minnesota and the snow, ice and cold haven't caused any problems yet so maybe I shouldn't be concerned. I have it routed though my Google Home app and between that and the TP-Link Kasa app it's been a dream so far - Thanks for carrying this product! I picked one up for my mother and myself. She runs her Kasa app though her Home app on her iPhone and I did have to help her set it up as she's in her mid-70's but since I did she's loving the fact that she can set her own schedules and control the two outlets independently. Would highly recommend.

I now have 3 of these of these in our home, and the first one was what got me buying all TP LINK products, EASY to connect to your home network, control via the app and set timers to turn on or off based on time of day, sunset or sunrise, you name it. Each of the plugs in the 2plug unit has its own name, timers etc.

I have a ton of kasa smart devices so this was a pretty easy decision. Works great for lights etc.

This device works great. I plugged into my outside outlets and then set up the device just like Kasa’s switches. You can wirelessly control either plug, Yes there are two outlets in each device. I plugged my outdoor Christmas lights into this device and then set up a schedule. Poof, like magic the Christmas lights come on and they go off on schedule, or I can control them from my iPhone or iPad using the Kasa app or Google or Alexa.

I’ve been looking for an outdoor smart plug for a long time and I’m extremely pleased to have found this one from TP Link. I have several TP Link indoor smart plugs and have found them very easy to setup and very reliable and this one is the same. Easy setup and precise control of on/off power makes this a great purchasing choice. Highly recommended.

Easy to set up and works well for outdoor landscape lights.

Works great. Like the ability to plug in my truck and set the timer without going out when it's cold.

I’ve only had this for a few weeks, but so far it is perfect. Has worked flawlessly every time. I’m very happy with it. Now I don’t have to reset the alarm and wake the little one because I forgot to unplug the Christmas lights. I just tell Alexa, and all is done. Only downside is that it just hangs from the outlet, or screws in to your house, and is a little unsightly, but I knew that going in so I won’t ding it for that.

The smart plugs are very convenient, I enjoy the ease of setup , just would love a more right angle plug

We used to use a timer but eventually the mechanism for that broke and this was cheaper. We love it! Not only can you set it for schedule/timer or just on and off but you can also use it manually if you don't have your phone. I like it because if I want to turn on Halloween or Christmas decorations outside not at the normal time I don't have to go out to do it.
