Great router at very affordable price. It was time to replace my old one and this one did the job.

TP-LINK - TL-WR940N 450Mbps Wireless N Router Hardware version 6 *Setting Up The TL-WR940N Setting up the router for the first time is pretty easy. And once you have everything connected, you should be online in less than 5 minutes. When you’re ready to dig into the router’s settings to customize to your liking, there are a load of options for you to dig into. The router’s web management page is very nicely done, too. All the different settings are laid out perfectly and easy to navigate. *Wired & Wireless Performance After getting the router set up and running, I ran some speed tests. One over Ethernet, one over Wi-Fi, and it performed well. Listed below is the current Internet plan I am subscribed to, and the speed test results while using the TL-WR940N router (version 6). *My Internet Plan: Download 75 Mbps / Upload 10 Mbps *Wired: Download 90.36 Mbps / Upload 12.08 Mbps *W-Fi Performance: Download 89.43 Mbps / Upload 12.12 Mbps Those are some great speed test results! I do live in a smallish 4 bedroom home, so I’d most likely get decent wireless coverage regardless of what router I was using. However, I do have a very large backyard area, and the router provides decent coverage in and around my home. I can sit in my backyard and stream HD videos without any issues at all. It works surprisingly good. By the way, I am using my own cable modem, which is a TP-Link cable modem, and I get pretty much the same speed test results even when I am directly connected to it, with no router in between. So the nice speed increase you see is not because of the router. Comcast must have simply increased my Internet speed on their end. For the best wireless coverage, be sure to place the modem in an open area free of obstruction. Do not place the modem in an enclosure, under a desk or block the vent-holes. This is an inexpensive wireless N router, and for most people, will be all you need to set up a decent home or small office network. For those needing a more advanced network and will be using devices with their routers that support wireless AC technology, consider purchasing a router that supports wireless AC technology. This will future-proof your network somewhat, as most all recent mobile devices (phones, tablets, and laptops) these days support wireless AC. Good low cost solution to extending range in my house.

Setting up the router was quick and simple. The range could use some work though. Even with 3 antennas the signal doesn't reach to other side of the 1500sq ft house well.

450 mbps and is a Great wifi range. I have 6 devices connected and watching Netflix and not problem at all.

More stable than most in the same category, however, the signal strength is not stronger as many people claim but not bad at all. Over all, great performer for such little money.
