We are really enjoying these door locks. No need to carry keys around. Thumbprint to get in or type in code. We bought 5 and it makes things easier cor us. Great price and great purchase!

Well made, easy to install and use and works fine with Alexa to lock/unlock. Doesn't require a separate gateway to work with Alexa.

Cool lock with multiple ways unlock the door. Pretty straightforward to install. A little modifications were needed to the existing door, but that’s not the lock’s problem:) .

This door lock is very heavy and works great I wasn't sure if I would like it but the 1st time I was leaving and forgot something in the house and I didn't have to kill my car to get my keys I was hooked.

I have been using my Tapo DL110 smart lock for a few days now and it works flawlessly. Over the years I have used a few similar locks for both home and work so I probably have more experience than most on this topic. The option to use a finger print as you key makes this one my favorite. The app is very easy to use and set up as well. For those unfamiliar with smart locks I’ll go thru more of the installation basics. If you can install/replace a deadbolt I would think you can fairly easily install a smart lock. Line the front and back up and connect it with a couple screws. The biggest difference is there is a wire harness that needs to get fed thru the deadbolt opening from the outside to the inside where the battery is. But again, none of this is very difficult. The entire process of removing my old lock and installing the new lock took less than 10 minutes and only required a Phillips screwdriver. Well, to nearly finish the install. This lock uses a rechargeable battery that needed charging to start. My other locks all used AAs so this is a welcome change. Once the battery was charged I popped it in place and then downloaded the app. It just took a few more minutes to pair the app, set the pin and set my finger print. Using your finger print is a pretty nice option. So far it has worked every time I have tried it. Another feature this lock had that none of my others did was a doorbell. My girlfriend and I wondered if people would notice the door bell since it’s right on the device just under the keypad as opposed the typical separate doorbell next to a front door. Well the next day a friend stopped by and instantly saw it and recognized it as a doorbell and rang. Being able to unlock your door remotely also is a nice feature that can come in handy from time to time. It also comes with keys so it can also be used just like a traditional lock if so desired. You can also set it to auto lock after it has been unlocked for moment or two. All in all this is a great device. I love the fingerprint key option. The keypad is very clean and nice looking and I appreciate that the battery is rechargeable. It is still sitting at 100% charged after a few days of use. I believe it said you can expect about a year of use out of a charge. Though I don’t use it, you can also use voice commands as it is compatible with smart things, alexa and Google home. I’d rate this item a very strong 5*s and I would absolutely recommend it to a friend.

This smart lock is easy to use, it’s extremely quiet when locking and unlocking and overall is simple to setup

It’s held up great. It’s the most convenient lock I’ve had. Outside jiggles a bit that why it’s a 4 start. But I do love it.

Great easy to use smart lock. Having previously installed, setup and used a smart lock system from a different company before I will say this has been a great experience over the previous unit. Installation was very simple and straightforward for me. Everything needed to install in an existing deadbolt location or even a new door with no location provided is in the box. With simple to follow instructions and templates. I had the lock system installed and functioning in less than 30mins. Setup through the downloadable app was a breeze in comparison to the previous system i removed. From connecting to WiFi to finger print recognition I encountered zero problems. There are several features that this system offers that made me choose it over others. First thing was the rechargeable battery, the previous system we had installed took 8 AA batteries that seemed to last a few weeks and was getting very expensive, second was multiple ways to unlock the lock. Whether it be the fingerprint scanner or a basic key for when the battery goes dead the TPlink has you covered. Our previous system had one way to unlock and that was the keypad and when the batteries died you could not unlock it. Having fail safes built in to still gain access to your home is a great feature. Another added feature is a built in doorbell, so if your home does not have a doorbell the lock has one built in. Now i would give this system a 5 star rating but one thing that it does not seem to have is a way to sense if the door is close or not. So if you have an outer door and leave the main door open like I often do to let more natural light in the lock will lock itself after the set amount of time even when the door is open. Overall I’m very happy with this system and would definitely recommend it over the previous one that I had.

I bought two, one worked perfectly, the other doesn't connect at all and I can't exchange it anymore according to bestbuy, I think I wasted my money, other than that I really liked it
