Set up: Brings screws and requires a drill to set up the mount for the camera and the solar panel. The solar panel cord is long enough to be able to set up the camera at least 20ft from the solar panel. Then just download the app and the camera is detected pretty quick. Camera: built-in speaker, built-in light, built-in alarm, picture quality is amazing (crisp and clear whether day or night), and the camera itself is sturdy and well-built. Solar Panel/Bettery: Never have to charge! I noticed the solar panel starts charging the camera once the battery starts going underneath 75%. I haven't noticed lower than that. App: This app is amazing! Better than Arlo for sure. So many customizable features! It took me a few days to explore everything it offers. You can automate it in many ways and switch from "home mode" and "away mode" through a scheduled time. You can also set up the camera to only detect specific movement like: only pets, only people, only vehicles, or just general movement - and it alerts you of what type of detection it picks up (vehicle, pet, etc.) The app allows for "privacy mode" if you share your camera app with family members with just one click, so it doesnt send alerts. You can also take pics and record videos through the app and it saves on your phone. It has so many more features to make it simplify its use, you just have to explore the app and activate/customize the features to your liking. Subscription Service: way more affordable than Arlo or Ring. $3.49/device or $11.99/10 devices per month. There's in between prices for less cameras as well, and you can do a yearly service which saves you money if you want to pay up front.

The ease of use has been great for someone like me, who isn’t all up on tech. Picture is great, audio would be great if I didn’t live in a windy town. Set up was easy according to my daughter. Really good.

Pretty easy to set up and install. A little lagging at night of any movement. Once the trial ends, I installed SD cards and it runs fine. No monthly subscription the sound when speaking from the camera is still a little muffled kind of hard to hear what someone is saying

Easy install, easy use. Only records when motion is detected. With solar panel installed (in November, now it's April) and I still have ~ 30% battery left. Will have to take it down for one day to charge soon. For the price, I'm happy.

Easy to install and setup, adding additional cameras was a breeze. Solar panels work well even in our heavily wooded area.

Quite easy to install once I figured out the various connections. I'm still not 100% up to speed on downloads and playback. Solar charging is great.

Great quality and easy to use. Clear picture and stays fully charged. Only downside is distance for motion sensing could be better.

Overall I think the 3 pack TP Link is a good deal. The camera works well and offers many options for use. My only issue is that if it is very dark out the camera is not picking up a person. I plan to add some lights in the area to help the camera pick up. Solar panels work great so far.

I'm not a person who got this for free or was biased to review this. Here is an honest review. I bought this because there was a person around my house at night. My motion detectors would say a person was around. One night he knocked on my bedroom window, needless to say, I was startled, I wont go into detail, on what happened, but I bought these the next day. I installed them, funny as it seems , the night alerts have stopped. I assume he saw me putting up the cameras. So on to the cameras. Tp-Link has good cameras, the solar ones are good. Don't have to worry about the battery, cuz charges all the time. It''s alerts are almost immediate. Money well spent.

Great use for my ranch have one at the gate, one at the front door and back door. Never have to charge them the sun does the job for me. Picture is clear day and night definitely recommend these cameras.

Pleasantly surprised!! Easy install, check your wifi range. I love the clor n sound. Can turn light on if needed in dark. Everything is easily accessible from the app on the phone. The width span of the camera is amazing. I would buy again and highly suggest. The app shows how charged each camera is. Noting each only needs 45 min of sun to charge. I cant say enough. We are no pros but know everything is in box. My husband did buy stainless screws or bolts(?) To be sure no rusting.

Easy to set up,install and use. Great app. Also if you already have any cameras on the Kasa app, you can link them to the Tapo app so you can view and manage all your cameras in one application.

I like the quality but the app is a little hard to figure out. I can't figure out how to make it stop recording every so many seconds. There is no movement and it still records.

Better than any others I’ve tried! The battery stays full, even on cloudy days. Great picture quality and no subscription fee.
