I already have a dozen of TP-Link Tapo Smart Wi-Fi Light Dimmer Switches. They work as expected and advertised. The devices are cross-compatible (Matter).

Been running TP switches and outlets for at least 5 years with no problems. Plus I enjoy the the faint glow of these switch in the dark which makes them easy to find

Needed to replace a dimmer switch for the kitchen recessed lights (a combination of old PAR30 halogen/LEDs, and modern screw-in retrofit LED's flat panels. I was persuaded by the price, brand, Wi-Fi capabilities, and positive reviews. Thought that installation could be challenging, but it actually was equal to an old-fashioned light switch; and the Wi-Fi/app. programing was intuitive and easy.

If you’re building or upgrading a smart home setup, the TP-Link Kasa dimmer is an excellent, affordable choice. Reliable connectivity, good dimming performance, and strong app features make it stand out in its price range. Just make sure your home’s wiring is compatible.

Easy to install, little tight in the light box as all smart switches are, but added to google home hub gen 2 via matter/thread almost instantly, quick and easy integration, bought 3 4-packs and they all play nicely.

So i was one that bought into all of the smart home stuff years ago when it all started so i did already have smart light switches unfortunately i bought ones that are no longer supported wemo so i had to replace those with new ones considering that the smart function of the old wemo switches were obsolete so far i am pretty impressed with how great these work with alexa and how east thet were to install i would totally recommend them

Have used TP-Link Smart Switches on a few homes, however this was my first experience with TP-Link "Tapo with Matter" ..., and I LIKE IT. IMO, the Android Tapo App and Tapo devices links up faster than standard TP-Link stuff. After a while, the Tapo Matter app also found legacy TP-Link equipment. Additionally, after rebooting my smart system post storm power loss, everything linked back together up nicely. My chief complaint is how the Tapo App jumbles all the device icons on the home screen. It's nice to see all devices there, but too easy to select the wrong item with big thumbs on a standard phone screen.

Very well with Alexa, have echo dot with these switches, works perfect for single pole lights. Not suitable for fans with lights, if u do it will turn on lights and fan at the same time.

Easy installation. The app ised for these devices is easy to use and setup. I installed every switch in my house with smart switches and now truly can control everything in my house with just a few clicks.

Installation went okay. I followed instructions but initially couldn't get it to power on. I turned you getting an electrician out to install it, who told me that I mixed up the line and load. It worked afterwards. Connecting Matter worked well and waa easy. The annoying thing is that if I click the switch to quickly (not a matter of how hard I press, but rather how briefly) the switch does not recognize it. This was not an issue with my Kasa switches. Not a big problem but you have to make sure to click it for what seems to be more than a third of a second.

These smart switches are very convenient, easy to install and quick to connect on the phone app. One thing to notice, the dimmer when its at last 2 dots, its completely dark. But pro tip- be sure to but bulbs compatible with dimmer.

wiring up was easy and they work great. Tapo app is easy to operate. Had some issues getting to link with google home but in the end it is working now.

It works as a dumb switch when no network is available. Connects to the existing smart device mesh system with no issues and works perfect out of tge box. Cant ask for much more.
