    I got this router to act as an access point, boosting the wifi signal in the middle of my house. I had returned a Netgear router that wouldn't do the job, and this one did the trick with much less hassle than trying to set up the other. It has great versatility in how you can use it: As a primary router, a signal booster, or an access point connected to a wired Ethernet spot. That's how I set it up, and it's working smoothly. The instructions are pretty clear, with a couple intuitive steps not mentioned. I have eleven different devices in the house that connected to it seemlessly. It was easy to use the admin panel from my laptop to change the SSID. In all a great router at a great price.
