    My husband and I live in a "dead zone" and visitors with 4-G phones, regardless of service provider do not get a signal! So, we got the least expensive option to be able to use our cell phones to keep in touch with family or each other during the day or travel. We have been pleased with our touch phones that "triple the minutes" we buy. The only glitch happened recently when we bought a card with bonus minutes and it would not triple! We spend on average less than $10. a month so you see the value of Tracfone.

    If you already have a double or triple minute phone, the 800 minutes will not be doubled or tripled. I spent over an hour with customer service (all the way up to senior shift manager "Shannet" (yeah right, Indian accent...possibly). They would only add an additional 400 minutes for a total of 1200; this severely affects the economy of the "Triple Minutes for Life" on my LG 840G (up to ~11 cents per minute with taxes vs. ~5 cents per minute). Nothing on the card or in TOS mentions this so it's deceptive, I'll be complaining as high as I can. First "Gotcha" with an otherwise good value phone.
