Nice phone..much better features than my old phone.

For under $5, this fully functional flip-phone could also access the internet, take decent quality photos and even offered 20 minutes of free talk time (which Tracfone no longer includes, unfortunately!). In essence, it was a $5 portable, disposable, untraceable phone you can use and toss...what an amazing bargain!!!!

My mom who is in her 70s wanted a cell phone for just that a simple phone. She did not want to spend a lot of money and wanted something very basic and a pay as you go phone. Picked this one out with the help of an associate. The phone is very very basic and fits her needs. She likes the fact that it shows the remaining minutes and when they expire. The only thing I don't like is how cheap it feels (but this is someone used to an iPhone and their quality)

My mom was admitted to Skilled Care and had a flip phone with monthly charges. She could not afford the plan (cheapest available through the cell phone company) and only used a few minutes a month. I purchased the Tracphone which works just as good or better than the phone from a major cell phone company. I added 60 minutes which last 90 days for 19.99. These minutes double as long as the plan is active. So I feel more comfortable knowing she has a phone in case of emergency.

I purchased this phone at the recommendation of a Best Buy representative, who knew that I just wanted to make it possible to have phone contact with someone who didn't have a phone. The bonus is that minutes purchased are doubled using this stripped-down flip phone with no data features. It accomplishes what I bought it to do.

this is for my mother and she can't hear on it at all ... but if it rings she knows who has called so we call back on a different phone .. it is compact and fits in her pocket

I am shocked to say that, this was the only bad experience I had. Poor customer service, left me hanging, wrong product info and no product knowledge, whatsoever. The receipt said BONUS 100 minutes, which was a misprint as far as Best Buy is concerned. However, I was offered a refund but chose not to because of the hassle of activating and lower price.
