I used it for a medium-rare ribeye, and when it said “remove from heat”, I trusted it… and boom. Perfect pink center, juicy, not overdone, not undercooked. Great thermometer, I like that I can leave it in there and view real time data on my phone. Plus, the alert is even better. I don't have to stare at it. Would recommend

Awesome accurate probe. After the install everything else is a breeze. You can stick it on the side if your grill or fridge with the bottom magnet. Recommend!

My old Meater probe broke. But luckily BB had the last one in store on standby. Invaluable tool at a sweet price

The MEATER+ has worked great for me so far. The temp reading was accurate and it has decent reach via Bluetooth. The app is cool as well.

If your within range it’s a 5….. if your out side of range it’s a 3 at best.

I’ve had the meater for about 13 months and rarely use it. Really only use it for larger meats such as Turkey. Used 10 times max I’d say and the tip came separated from the body. A 1 year warranty on a $100 thermometer is below par when you have companies such as Thermopro offering 3 years. When I contacted meater their fix was for me to buy a replacement probe for $59. Makes no sense for me to continue throwing away money with meater, I’ll simply search elsewhere for a better replacement.

Got this for my dad as a gift and he absolutely loves it! Was deciding between a few brands but this one is great! The app works awesome but the only thing is sometimes there is a connection issue, but getting around that is easy. Perfectly cook anything everytime with ease!

The MEATER meets my expectations and is better than most other meat gauges. It is sturdy and easy to use. The temperature is easy to read and is accurate.

This little device generally does a nice job, not only giving you current temp, but ambient and predictive cook time + plus solid temperature targets for a variety of foods. All super helpful. Minor issue: one must remain close - even with the extender charging unit - to keep the information flowing, but it does a decent job reconnecting once you're back in range. I see the upgraded model probably does a better job of this (of course). Full disclosure, my probe died after 8 months. Fortunately, manufacturer was kind enough to send me a replacement (one year warranty) - and didn't even need the old unit back. That was helpful. If I was in the market for a replacement (that I had to pay for) I would consider the upgraded unit or a competitor. For now, with a new lease on thermometer life, I'll stick with it.

This meat thermometer works excellent! It really does. Use phone app and keep track of whole cooking process. Use on a thicker piece of meat and follow directions. Cooks to perfection and my husband is thrilled to get this gift. It is expensive and I used Best Buy rewards. It is a high quality item.

I love it. I have used for just chicken breast currently, but it is so helpful to use the thermometer while cooking in the oven. It comes out juicy every time.

Instead of opting for a "smart" grill, I decided to go with this thermometer instead (cheaper, easier to replace and upgrade). This thing has been awesome, especially for slow rotisserie cooking (can't do that with the wired thermometers). The app has been fantastic as well!
