I'm a huge Johnny Depo fan, and this movie just made me a bigger fan of his! The plot is amazing and it really does spark up an interest in AI.

Decent movie. Wasnt a great movie by any means...i believe i fell asleep during parts of it, but i woke up and was able to still follow the plot.

This is my type of science fiction. A thought provoking premise executed with all the excess flash & bang required of a big studio production.

we need more movies like this, The question is could this be posible with tommorows tec. How would we dial with it or should we even think of it.

Most of the time I watch movies to see what kind of message they're trying to bring forth, I like this one although it is not a perfect film

This movie is definitely an acquired taste. It is not for everyone. On my first viewing I would have rated it a 2-3 stars only. On my later viewing, knowing full well the story line and ending I was able to pick up on all the nuisances of the movie director intended. Then everything fell together so I rate it a 5 stars

overall great movie. Johnny depp was a real actor for this movie and played it so good. Definitely a must watch from a beginning to end!

pros - johnny depp is great as usual, and the effects are cool with an intriguing plot. cons - the movie doesn't seem to live up to its expectations. considering the story and the theme of the movie, it underperforms. transcendence is not a bad movie, it just leaves a lot to be desired.

The movie was very different. I didn't know anything about it, I didn't look at reviews or anything, it was all very unexpected and Johnny Depp did a great job. Its scary to think someone thought of this! Worth watching if you like high tech innovation and what could happen in the future,,, or not!

Saw this movie once-rental-and was worth purchasing to watch again. Good movie to watch with others and discuss with.

It's an entertaining night for a movie, and the price was right on this one. Good view of a possible future spectrum.

Depp turns in another intense performance. And what can you say about Morgan Freeman that hasn't already been said. Personally I think his part was best in the movie, but I'm a very big fan of his work. And Paul Bettany...wow. Is there role he can't play? FX work was very good, some of the best of the year.

We got this because it has an interesting premise. It didn't disappoint in the interesting category.

Great stories. Morgan Freeman and Johnny Depp carried the movie. Everyone else was simply a filler. Excellent special effects.
