well lets just start of saying the campain is horrible. if i were you i would cheat and unlock all missions just to mess around. pointing at the screen gets old very fast becuase if you point somwhere else the cammera goes crazy. the controls also go against eachother because you can do a melea (sorry i dont know how to spell(that) attack by swinging the nunchuck left and right but sometimes the game counts this as up and down which is how you pick up an item and throw it. you can also press the c button so its poinless to have the vertical motion even as an option. it looks pretty pathetic when you go to hit and enemy and instead he attemps to pick him up.

Transformers is a decent action game in which you can either save the world or destroy it. Transformers isn't the greatest game I have ever played, but overall, it's a fun game that keeps you busy on rainy days. I like how powerful the weapons are and how realistic the Transformers look. The only thing that I absolutely hate about this game is that when you drag the crosshair to either side of the screen, the crosshair will appear on the opposite side of the scrren and the camera will go crazy. I would recommend this to any Transformer fan.

Transformers the game is enjoyable, the graphics are very good and the game is challenging. The bad things are that the controlls are bad, and sometimes can make the game a little too hard, and confusing. The game is also way to short. Even though it has some flaws, it is still an enjoyable game.

Worst game ever

I bought this the day it was released and played with it for several weeks. The game has promise. It's Transformers so right there it automatically has cool factor. I was a fan of the tv show and this looked like it might be a fan's dream come true. The intro was very cool, and then the game started.
The game looks pretty decent, and it's pretty cool the way you can change forms at will. But that's about where it stops. The camera angle is never where you want it and it's hard to control. All of the forms I played were way underpowered. On the missions if you are off your mark even a little bit you might was well abandon and start over because you will fail. The controls are not smooth. It really seems like they rushed this out 1/2 way done.
It's very disappointing. I have spent over 20 hours on this game and it's just not fun. I finished most of the game on the autobot and decepticon sides. I think this is the first game I've ever bought and not finished. I have no desire to play this ever again.
I have been a console and on-line gamer for over 2 decades. My first console was an Atari...before the 2600. There were no cartrages, it had 6 games loaded on it and the controler was built into the console. I don't think I have ever been this disappointed in a game.
For the first time ever I took a game to a major game store to get credit towards something else...they wouldn't take it. They already have too many used copies. I ended up giving this game to a friend because he was going to buy it. He says it's not worth it even free.
Save your money, don't even bother renting it.

Wanted to Return It

The game was boring if you were Autobot or Decepticon. Each had a few challenges but not what the advertiser lead you to belive. You are able to change from car to transformer quickly. As a car you are able to speed and chase down your opponent on radar, but also very hard to understand remote movements.
Movie was better. Wish I could return or exchange my game. Now I know to rent game before I buy. I learnt the expensive way.

Pretty good game... doesn't deserve the panning.

Honestly, I don't understand why everyone dislikes this game. I believe that it is fun, overall a cool, addicting game that people can enjoy. Just the fact that you get to rampage as a giant robot and attack other robots similar to yourself is a cool concept, not to mention ANYTHING is a weapon and you can transform to a vehicle whenever needed.
This can can start out challening, but once you get used to it and get more skilled this is a really good game, I don't see why everyone is panning this. I really liked this game and am going to continue playing it in the near future,

This game is great just throwing stuff around and shooting stuff, and also transforming and driving around but it gets old... fast. The game is really hard to beat and there is no multiplayer or anything, so there is not much to do...

I really liked this game. It was easy to play. Most games are tricky to play and need a guide but not this one.

Feeding off the movie's success

This game seems rushed out to feed off the movie's buzz. The idea is there, but the execution is way off. It is almost impossible to be facing the right direction during fights, and the action scenes are very choppy. The ability to change from robot to car and so forth is pretty cool, but not cool enough to compensate for the games shortcommings. The "action zone" is a pointless and stupid feature where you HAVE to stay within a certain radius of the fight scenes, or you fail the mission. Big problem is, sometimes you get hit or exploded out of the zone, and can't get back in time. Very disappointing game because of the potential it had.
