For anyone who saw this movie, you probably were very disappointed by this game. It's very elementary, with mostly chase and retrieve missions and a sub-par move list and weapons for the characters. The coolest part of the game is the ability to transform on the fly, but even that wears off after the first hour. Also, its annoying that any and everything you make contact with is DESTROYED. Cars, buildings, landmarks, etc. The game has a good concept, but seemed rushed. They should try again and develop a more indepth weapons/fighting system and make the missions more involving. A big letdown overall.

First off, I love the Transformers. I grew up watching the cartoon, loved the new movie and had high hopes for this game. Like most movie games it was a big letdown. Activision really dropped the ball on this one, the controls stink, missions mainly consist of drive here, fight that before time expires. The game plays in 1080p but it is just a upconvert signal not true 1080p, cutseens are blurry. Last for a game made for young children it is pretty hard and frustrating. I wish this game would have been better but this is the norm for movie games.

at first i was a big, big transformers fan. so i quickly got the game, but it was a big disappointment. i barely play it at all now. the moves are almost all the same but sometimes very cool. you can be autopbots or decepticons, but i prefer decepticons. there are some missions that have time limit which are the really horrible missions. but destroying stuff never gets old. boss battles are pretty obvious and you do the same moves again and again. so if you watched the transformers movie, this game is nothing as good as the movie. but its still okay, but i'd say don't get it.

This is the worst game I have every played...i am almost embarressed to admit that i played it... i am also glad I only rented it first... Boring...boring...Slow game play...stupid story line...not fun at all...I think i had more fun getting my tooth pulled....This game is a waste of PS3 power....

The game was not horrible but it did not do the movie any justice at all. perhaps the three stars were a tad too much. The game play and controlls were not that bad but its the same thing over and over again just with different skins. The different characters seem to have very little differences other than looks. I am still trying to find the willpower to finish it.

I don't think this game's been getting fair reviews - most reviewers are expecting too much based off the movie, or are jaded about the price. There are a lot of fun elements to this game - most of it is like being in a Grand Theft Auto world as a Transformer, without the blood, guts and death. The missions are fairly short, as is the overall game, but c'mon, Transformers are for KIDS! Granted, it's rated Teen, probably because of the destruction you can cause, but the overall gameplay should probably be rated as 10 and under. My 5 year old son loves it, and I think anyone between 5 and 10 can have a lot of fun with this game. All that said, I will admit it's tough to justify the price of this game, but all PS3 games are at least $50.

I DO NOT recomend this game. the only thing i see that relates to the movie is that you get to transform. everything else is that you have to fight some bos and little transformers i think the movie is way better and i wouldnt waste your money on this game AT ALL

I bought this game thinking that the game would be as good as the movie. i thought the creator was lazy and the features not very creative. Overall, I will never make the same mistakes buying games for $59.99

The old show was a hit, the movie was incredible, the game...made me want to throw up. This had the possibility to be a great game. Sorry to say it but the developer didnt seem to put enough effort into the game. I beat the entire game in about 2 hours (with a 45 minute lunch break in the middle).It was cool to have the old Megatron back but that was the only good point. The mindless destruction did get old after awhile. Hopefully they will be able to redeem themselves in a possible sequel. Buy it if you want but be warned you may get sick. Have 911 on speed dial.

The first piece of advice that I will suggest for this would be "Stay Away" if you choose to give it a try anyway (Because you are a die hard Transformers fan) at least rent it first and give it a try before you buy it. I rented this game and I wanted my money back, I didnt even keep it the full week of the rental! I have PS1 and PS2 games that are at least this good! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Have not found anything I do not like in the game! It is for my younger kids to play becuaes it is slighty easy and basic and for the first game based on the movie not bad really overall I like it so much the kids have for both PS2 and PS3 at the lower $20 price that is!
