Trapped is the latest Noir film released by the Flicker Alley studio. This film was recently restored by the UCLA Film & Television Archive and the restoration is great. Flicker Alley who have been releasing these lesser-known Noir films, mainly to showcase earlier works by actors/actresses/directors who would go on to greater films. In this case it's one of Lloyd Bridges earliest film roles and the director, Richard Fleischer went on to direct classics such as 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, Tora! Tora! Tora!, The Boston Strangler, and Doctor Doolittle. To be honest this film is definitely a B-Film at best and should only be purchased by those who are fans of unknown Noir, Lloyd Bridges, or Richard Fleischer.

Most of you know Lloyd Bridges from Seinfeld. (not his best work)
Many of you know him from Airplane (now that was funny!).
But those of us 60 or older remember him from the syndicated mystery series Sea Hunt where all the crimes took place in or under water. Scuba Diving every week.
THIS film is way before that. Mr. Bridges did a number of small B-level noir films before getting noticed on television. TRAPPED is one of the best. Bridges is a counterfeiter on the run from the Feds ... Will he get away to make more funny money? Watch it and find out.
