    It's an Okay movie to watch. The story is Treasure Island in a Space setting. It's more for older teens and adults.

    For some reason my kids have always loved this movie and when my 15 y/o saw it in store he begged to get it. As an adult I’ve never seen the appeal, but to each their own. It’s cute.

    What a great take on an old classic. This is one of the few animated movies I watch repeatedly. Martin Short is as always amazingly hilarious. So many good visuals and reminds me of another great pirate treasure movie The Goonies.

    I'm not typically a fan of re-imaginings when it comes to films. Instead of making a sci-fi version of a pre-existing story, why not make your own original one? But there's something about Treasure Planet that just works. Everything from the animation to the re-working of characters, this is a worthy version of the classic "Treasure Island" tale.
