The clear film included in the packet protects the screen from scrathes. It covers the screen smoothly. The only draw back is a little hefty. It bulks up my pocket when I place the cell phone in it.

durable phone case

The case (and phone) are still in one piece, no cracks, no shattered screens. Seems to be as good as some of he more expensive models.

Very nice case, but where's the screen protector?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because the description advertised a self-adhering screen protector coming with the product. I wanted to replace my husband's Otterbox which did not fit his GS3 very well (had not since we bought it, even though my Otterbox of the same type fits my GS4 quite well). This case is very attractive and it is very easy to press the volume and power buttons. It fits so snugly that it is a bit difficult to remove, but still not as difficult as an Otterbox defender series case. My one gripe (and only reason I removed a star) is that the self-adhering screen protector is nowhere to be found. To be fair, the package arrived while I was out and my husband opened it. If the screen protector was somewhere in the package separate from the case then it is possible that it was accidentally discarded. However, I did search the trash and couldn't find it. Instead I took separated the screen protector from my husband's old Otterbox case and placed it on the phone, then put on this Trident case. It's not a permanent solution but it has been holding thus far, and will have to do. Overall I am very pleased with the product and impressed by its quality. I do wish the description listed here was accurate and wanted to post this review to let other buyers know this case may not come with a screen protector. Hopefully my experience was a fluke in that respect.
