I have enjoyed the Trine games and when I saw that Best Buy had a physical release, I took the chance. Unfortunately, there were multiple quality issues once I received the product- originally I got it shipped to my home and the game case was cut/cracked on the spine edge. I assumed it was due to the carrier. I made the trek to the local store and was offered an exchange. To avoid a repeat of the carrier damaging it due to poor handling, I opted to have my wife pick it up store to keep it in new condition. Unfortunately, when I received, the damage was still present and it in the same area! I could tell it was a different copy but came to the conclusion that this damage was caused most likely by the Best Buy team at the distribution center- most likely by a dull box cutter. I called customer support and they were clueless. The one star is for the game working and for Trine being awesome. Best Buy let me down multiple times by selling a damaged product as brand new. I would have appreciated any form of compensation or discount for a future purchase as a returning customer but glad I’m atleast able to provide my experience here. Please label damaged products accordingly and level set expectations for the consumer who purchases something expecting it in NEW condition. If something gets damaged, label it accordingly so we know BEFORE we buy. Thank you and God Bless.

I had a lot of fun playing through this game. There are 20 total levels, each taking around 1 hour to complete to 100% (minus the last level, taking less time). The puzzles were fun, some challenging. The music and scenery are nice and the voice acting is good. I like the bits of humor added in. You get additional skills for all three of your characters as you progress and have a skill tree. It felt like the combat was improved in comparison to the previous installment.

Game it is very interesting as RPG game a lot strategy and time consuming. Great story line and adventure.
