Customers love the Pro 7 Elite's functionality, but some find the screen size too small for certain tasks like presentations or working with complex documents. The limited storage is another concern, with users suggesting the need for an SD card. Additionally, the power plug's design and charging speed have received negative feedback. Overall, while the device has positive aspects, several features require improvement.

Great windows 8 tablet for a casual user

This tablet is great for a casual tablet user who wants Windows 8. While it is awesome for light work and it's great that it comes with office pre-installed, the screen size makes it a little difficult to do any long-term complex papers or PowerPoint presentations. It's best for quick note-taking and quick little touch-ups and light editing in the applications. Other than that, it's an alright tablet. For my larger papers and PowerPoint work, I sill prefer my Lenovo any day as it has a larger screen and larger storage capacity.

I bought this Trio when I was on vacation in Oklahoma City. I thought it would be nice to have a windows environment I can tote around. I thought it would be similar to a Surface tablet, only smaller. It does have the windows OS. My main complaint is the power connector is clumsy and very difficult to connect to the tablet. And once connector it pops out easily. They need to design a better power connecter. The software was similar to my desktop os environment but the task bar is difficult to get to pop up on screen.
Overall, I was mostly dissatisfied with its performance.

This tablet is surprisingly fast and responsive for the price. The problem is, there is a serious issue with touch screen. I brought two of these, and the touch screen went out on both within 24 hours. Maybe it was a fluke, but I cannot recommend this product.

This tablet performs ok but they really needed to add some resolution options to make windows desktop useable. The text is difficult to read (because it is so small) and it is really difficult to select the tiny icons and text links with your fingers. Using apps is fine but that isn't all you would ideally want to use on a windows device.

Like many of the reviews my unit had a power plug problem. The power plug on the unit was so intermittent and touchy that it took three days to charge it initially. My son also bought the same unit two days later and his unit had the same problem, but not as bad as mine. When you could get it to stay charged it seemed to be an ok unit. I returned it and got a full refund as an in store credit. Even though the unit was defective I had to take the in store credit, because trying to get it to work and not living that close to a Best Buy I didn't get it retuned in the allowed time. If you do buy this unit make sure you check it out right away.

Bought tablet for my wife to store new grand-baby pictures to show friends and relatives. It is our first tablet of any kind and wife is tech challenged. I don't know if she will ever figure it out. I have only experienced laptops and desktops before and this thing was a challenge and I still haven't figured out everything. The touch interface is a pain as it takes 3 taps to get generate a keyboard character, one to select it and a double tap to enter. Larger more expensive tablets may be faster and less aggravating to use, that remains to be seen. Still haven't gotten it to join my home network after resetting the home network password multiple times and re-entering the new password in the tablet. Had no trouble with my son's new HP laptop joining home network.

I purchased this tablet in the store and I am overall very happy with is so far. Windows 8.1 works great with touch. The device is very fast and fluid. The screen has great colors and wide viewing angles. Feels fairly sturdy in the hand and ruberized back provides grip and scratch resistance.
Things to consider:
-purchase an sd card upon recieving device, because storage is limited.
-Make font larger in control panel, objects can be difficult to see on the 7 inch screen
-keep and eye on ram usage, 1gb of ram only supports about 4 apps open at once.
-the only real con I could find was the stock charger is really slow, especially when the device is plugged in during use. I just used a samsung charger, it works great.
overall verdict:
value for price: 10/10
functionality: 8.5/10
build quality: 8/10

Granted, I didn't expect much. Very inexpensive. I have a hard time keeping the micro USB cable in the port. It's a design flaw in my opinion. Low battery life.

The notepad was a fabulous buy, especially for traveling. I was not familiar with the operating system and it wasn't the easiest for a smooth "out-of-the-box" experience.

This is a good tablet for the price. It has Bluetooth and 16G. Of the 16G only about 7G is free after OS and preinstalled apps so you may need to add a sd for more (I added a 32GB microsd). 7" screen a little small for some menu text and some items small so hard to touch accurately. I have a Bluetooth mouse which makes it easier. I wanted to try Windows 8.1 without spending a lot and this was a good way to try it without committing a more expensive laptop or desktop. It's not perfect, but I like it. Very portable, good battery life. A 10" would be easier to read/touch but this is much lighter and more portable.

Can't get past the first screen

I just received this tablet and something is wrong with the touch screen. I can't get past the initial start up screen. I called the manufacturer and after waiting on hold for 20 minutes got a rude man who apparently didn't like me telling him that he wasn't clear in his instructions so he hung up on me. My pet peeve are people who are in a customer service position who apparently hate customers!!!! I'm going to take this back and find something that actually works.
