Increased signal strength and added 4G

We had an older version of this that was for Verizon and only supported 3G speeds. We recently purchased this model and could see a definite improvement, and the great thing was that we were able to reuse our existing cable run for the antenna (going from the basement to the attic area of the office).

    Excellent Cellphone Booster

This works excellent if you have a cell signal outside and a marginal signal inside. We were at 1x to maybe 4g with one tiny bar depending on day and time... now we have 4g 4 to 5 bars and so much faster service and batteries are not draining on our cellphones fast. I WILL say it took little trial and error AND a quick phone call for clarification on some directions as they are not very clear. Basically the directions say 15 foot vertical distance. What we found out is it needs to be AT LEAST fifteen feet from base to outside antenna does not need to be vertical can also be horitlzontal and it is best if it is farther then that and walls etc in between. We knew where the tower location was from our home so we thought that the outdoor antena should logically be facing that direction. Which was completely wrong. We were getting to strong of a signal. I called and got some good advice...the company said put the outside antenna on the other side of the house where the tower location would be....I know...that doesnt make sense but it actually worked. We have had this unit for several weeks now and have excellent coverage. This unit is worth the money! The feel and look of it when you unpack it from the box is.. kind of cheap looking but dont let that fool you..it is excellent. I hope you all have as good of luck as we did...dont give up if you have problems call the company. I am so glad we did.

After following installation instructions exactly there was no signal increase anywhere in my home even in the same room as amplifier.
