A pseudo war movie comedy that will have you ROTF!

I love this movie!!! I can watch it over and over.

The fact that this movie was made is amazing. The characters and concepts come from almost a different era. Somehow, it’s still as hilarious today as it was over 10 years ago. Robert Downey Jr as a method actor willing to go far and beyond anything reasonable is pure genius. Ben Stiller as a washed up action hero is a poignant and reflective of Hollywood trends. An effective ensemble cast and heavily tongue-in-cheek. One of my all time personal favorites.

This is a classic comedy for the not faint of heart. This satiric vision of Hollywood from the mind of Ben Stiller certainly does shine a powerful light on the flaws, and faux pas that surround film making in Hollywood. One needs to understand, the lack of polices correctness in this film, is there to make a valid point. It gets a bad wrap from those that are faint of heart.

I enjoyed this movie--Robert Downey Jr makes it with his character. It's pretty light hearted and has a good ensemble cast, with Stiller, Downy, Jack Black, and others. It has good laughs all the way through. But Robert Downey Jr's performance is the reason to see it. It's the story of a troubled movie production, where the cast gets dropped in the middle of Vietnam. Things go wrong, but the cast still things they're shooting a movie. Hilarity ensues. Good bit parts by Nolte and Tom Cruise.

Such a funny and entertaining movie. Everyone did a great job acting, but the one that just makes me roll on the floor laughing, is Tom Cruise. He was hilarious in this movie. I've watched it over and over through the years because it is so amusing. If you want a little goofball action movie, this is a fantastic choice!

This movie is the best! It ma ma ma makes me ha haaapy! Ben Stiller does what he does best, and Downey Jr is awesome as well. So many good quotable lines and memorable scenes! One of the few movies I can watch over and over and still keep laughing each time! If you haven't seen this one yet, what have you been doing with your life this while time? Get it... now! Did I mention Tom Cruise is in it? No... seriously, he is!

This is by far one of the funniest movies EVER. I can't recall how many times I've seen this movie. Too many to count but definitely have not got tired of it. Robert Downy Jr. plays an amazing role & it's his funniest ever! The whole plot to this is just hilarious! If you haven't watched this movie, go get it ! I got it for $5 blu-ray here. It was on sale and couldn't have had a better deal!

This movie pays homage to the Vietnam War films of the 80's. Great acting from the cast and good cameos. Location filming is a major plus. The jokes are well-written, but the casual viewer may not understand the gist of them all. I highly recommend this film if you like to laugh out loud and can appreciate a good popcorn flick.

I remember the 1st time I watched this movie. I did not know it was what it was and I di not know RDJ was playing that role and man was I surprised. This movie was an instant classic and RDJ deserved an Oscar!

Ben Stiller and a stacked cast of young and old comedians knock this one out of the park IMO. As delightfully quotable as any Stallone or Schwarzenegger action flick with amazing performances, especially by Tom Cruise and Robert Downey Jr. If you can embrace the ridiculousness of it all, you'll laugh long and hard with this flick.

Hilarious movie. An all-star cast with surprisingly great chemistry. You've got Iron Man, Nacho Libre, Night at the Museum, Tom Cruise, "alright alright alright" and rappers all in one movie. In Southeast Asia. Mmhmm.

Lots of good quotes in this movie. It was a very good movie and pokes a bit of fun at Hollywood in general tongue in cheek. Obviously there is quite a bit of violence and fake gore being filmed as fake gore in the movie. Obviously not suitable for children but I would highly recommend. I thought it was hilarious and the cast is superb.

This movie will not be everyone's type of humor. It is over the top and absurd, but the exaggerated stereotypes are funny - it is a movie that I continue to enjoy more as I watch it. Tom Cruise as Les Grossman is one of the best parts! He is hilarious to watch. Also Robert Downey Jr is actually playing 2 different stereotypes which is fun to watch.

Realize it isn't hip to buy the physical movies any longer - at least that what my son tells me but the wife and I just love this movie. Ben Still and Robert Downey Jr steal the show but strong supporting cast. I just laugh so hard at some of the scenes. My kind of comedy.

The interaction of the actors and the indiginous peoples lead to humorous outcomes. Will they escape with their lives or will they die laughing

I love this movie. One of the best and funniest satires I have ever seen because it parodies Hollywood. This is just so great. However, some of the humor is immature - something common in R-rated comedies today - but something that is still rather pathetic and detracts from the greatness. Still, definitely worth seeing.
