A "BUFFED OUT" BEN STILLER AND A BLACK ROBERT DOWNEY JR?? WHAT COULD BE BETTER EXCEPT A LITTLE KID RUNNING A DRUG OPERATION AND A BALD TOM CRUISE!! NOT YOUR TYPICAL STILLER VEHICLE BY ANY MEANS!!

This movie while hilarious, was also met with some controversy mostly because of RDJ's use of blackface. It was also met with controversy because of some of the language, mostly pertaining to Ben Stiller's characters most popular role of "Simple Jack" in which he played a mentally handicaped person.

This is definitely a guy movie, funny raunchy humor and great laughs. Ben Stiller and Robert Downey Jr. are awesome in this movie. This movie caused a controversy when it was first released over the film's portrayal of mental retardation. They objected to the film's repeated and excessive use of mental retardation slang.

"I am a lead farmer muthafakaaaa !" I absolutely believe this is one of the funniest movies of the last decade and hence why it's one of 7 movies I actually brought on a physical medium, even though I never buy physical. Got it for super cheap too. Thanks Best Buy !

I originally didn't know what to think because of all the controversy that originally surrounded this movie, but once I watched it I could see that it was unfounded. This movie had me laughing from beginning to end just from the sheer ridiculousness of it. Highly recommend.

All I can say is your life is not complete until you have seen this movie. I've seen it over 15 times and it's just as amazing every time. Robert downy is unbelievable and the rest of the cast is so awesome. You will see these stars in a different way after watching. Two thumbs up.

The directors cut wasn't much extra to the film but it was still as funny as I remember it and it's funny hearing them discuss the difference between Blu-Ray and HD DVD. I doubt anyone remembers that anymore. It's like talking to 20 year olds about VHS vs. Beta

Now an oldie but goodie. The jokes are still funny today. The blu day quality is good, sound is on par with what I expected. This doesn't come with a digital copy but it is cheap so I can't gripe too much. We'll worth adding to your collection

Ben Stiller Fans shouldn't be disappointed! All actors and cameos are top-topnotch. There is a little bit here for everyone. My 77 year old mom loved the movie - had to pause and rewind several times, so she could catch what she missed while crying with laughter!!!

Ben stiller, jack black, Robert Downey jr, hilarious movie, right from the fake trailers at the very beginning. Definitely preferable to watch the blue-ray version than the edited garbage they show on cable. Tom cruise has a ridiculous part as well, especially in the credits.

A group of jumped up actors are making a big-budget movie. The actors end up in the real jungle in Vietnam where they are kidnapped for ransom. Great cast. Tom Cruise steals the show with his dodgy dance moves and makeup. The ads before the movie are hilarious.

Great ensemble of actors coming together to give standout performances in a funny send up of the Hollywood process. I was laughing from start to finish - from the cheesy fake previews to the "method acting" of Robert Downey Jr. And Tom Cruise as Les Grossman - freaking hilarious!

It's a hollywood movie making fun of hollywood. It has action, comedy, drama, all rolled into one. While it's incredibly stupid at times, it's fun to laugh at. Just a all around fun movie that will keep you laughing as long as you don't take it serious.

I like this movie... it's awful but I like it. Every time I watch it I find another comedic nuance that I had missed previously. IF you are looking for a good movie, skip this one over. IF you are looking for cheesy comedy, you've found the place for it.

I think this movie deserves so much credit as one the best comedies ever produced. I think Ben Stiller is an awesome director . Robert Downey Jr gave an incredible performance as usual. Just my opinion, but it's the funniest movie I've ever seen .

If you are in the mood for some crude humor, look no further. This movie delivers throughout the film. With such a star studded cast, it's hard not to enjoy every minute. You will find yourself forever quoting this film.

The plot is slap happy fun, stars making fun of their own industry. And frankly Rober Downy Jr. and Tom Cruise OWN this movie lol Brandon Jackson a close second. Jay Baruchel held is own as well. Mcconaughey held is own I guess in a much smaller way. Jack Black was the beginning of the breakdown in pure laughter, and Ben Stiller just sucked what remaining life there was out of this movie. Watching the "forrest gump" like parts was PAINFUL because his acting is soo bad. I still own it, and I do watch it from time to time. I basically feel like roller coaster ride with Ben Stiller providing the low boring tedious parts and the rest of the cast providing the lopp de loops and freefalls that make a roller coaster exciting.

What else can be said about this movie. Might just be the greatest comedy of modern time. This has layers to the comedy and an all star cast that are at their comedic best here. A must have for the collection.

Wife and I have seen this movie before but decided we wanted to own it. Great parts played well by Stiller, Black, Nolte and Downey. There’s so many parts I can’t help but laugh out loud. Enjoyable.
