U will need to Google how to update to install. There is a known installation and update issue. Broadband is key. Aside from that hassle, it is an entertaining game. Not too sophisticated but decent economic engine.

A very good trek through the colonial to modern era. Normal difficulty not too challenging, but I did find it helped gameplay if I re-ran levels to help set up later levels. Islands only available sometimes. Challenging and enjoyable game. Still working through the levels.

Tropico 5, like its predecessors, allows you to be in the shoes of the dictator of an island in the Caribbean. You build your city, manage the budget, orchestrate trade with foreign countries, manipulate your country's society and more. Although city building isn't as sophisticated as other games (no zoning for example) and a few bugs aside, Tropico 5 is really a time passer that challenges your critical thinking abilities.

My wife loves these games and is constantly playing this during her downtime. She loves the game, gets invested in the island and plans what she's going to try next. She loves it.

Excellent game, with many variables. If you like strategy games, you won't get bored. Highly recommended.
