This edition of Troy, which has an additional 30 minutes of unseen footage is much better than the original theatrical version. There is more character dynamics have also been improved and intensified. You will see it when viewing the inner turmoil between Achilles and his Rival, Hector. This is the version that you will want to view.

Homer's sprawling tale of love and war in ancient Greece comes to the screen in all its grandeur in this epic-scale adventure. In 1193 B.C., Paris, Prince of Troy (Orlando Bloom), has fallen in love; however, the beautiful woman who has beguiled him is Helen, Queen of Sparta (Diane Kruger), who is wed to King Menelaus (Brendan Gleeson).

One of the best big-budget Brad Pitt releases. Great scenery...good photography and a retelling of this great storyline. Eric Bana was awesome in his role. Buy it...enjoy it. Love mythology that turns out to be truth-based. They actually found Troy.

One of my favorite movies ever! The story is captivating, the scenery is breathtaking, the costumes are beautiful & the fight scenes are action-packed. If you've read The Iliad or The Odyssey, you'll love Troy! And if you haven't, you'll still love it!

Tory is the retelling of the historic Iliad. The storyline follows the Iliad closely with some minor tweaks in make the movie more interesting and pleasing to the viewers. Overall the movie is done extremely well making it one of my all time favorites.

Although its a bit long, the directors cut adds more depth to certain characters such as Odysseus and Priam. The quality of the CD and its packaging were also amazing

If you like Brad Pitt, mass Greek battles, and lots of close quarters combat, this is the movie to see. Acting is top notch and production is superb despite how old it is. This is a movie to add to your collection.

I know this movie has been out for awhile now but I had to relive the experience by buying it in BluRay format. Overall, the visual effects are amazing on my Smart TV. A definite must buy for any movie buff!

For me, personally, I love war films. This one definitely does not disappoint. A great film, from beginning to end. Brad Pitt is great in this one, wish he were still at this caliber.

This movie is a favorite in our household and seeing it in Blu-Ray makes it all the better. Saw a great deal on it at the store and had to replace our DVD version of it of course. :)

Seriously, it's Troy! I can't imagine anyone giving this a bad review. Fantastic movie, amazing actors. Blu-ray worked just fine.

Bought this just to upgrade from the dvd, this is a great looking film and I’m glad to have it in hd now but the film itself just drags.

This movie had to be one of my all-time favorites. I must've seen it at least 10 times. Brad Pitt and Eric Bana are excellent in this movie. Definitely would recommend it.

This is a great movie with a lot of action that I have owne it in dvd. But now I want to experience it in HD with better sound and picture quality.

Based on a true story. About a great battle back before guns. Swords and other hand weapons. Where did Trojan Horse or Achilles Hill come from? Watch and find out.

Bought the blu-ray to replace my dvd that took 2 discs for the full movie. Great movie that I put on alot of times just have something playing in the background.
