This is a classic of the funk soul cinema. Action packed with quotable dialogue. Do your mama a favor and pick this up for her. So good.

Never heard of Truck Turner? You are missing out. This film is, by far, the best and most entertaining of its genre. It’s that good. Isaac Hayes is tough, but lovable. The soundtrack is funky, the dialogue snappy, and the pacing is perfect. Nichelle Nichols of Star Trek plays the antagonist with gusto. Lots of action, romance, humor, and pimp assassins. Once you see this film, you’ll try to find others that deliver this much fun. Kino Lot er’s Blu Ray edition is a treat for the eyes and ears. Happy to be able to pick this up from Best Buy.

Few so-called 'blaxploitation' movies come close to equaling the sheer bombasity and slick veneer that Issac Hayes does portraying Truck Turner. Filled with lewd behavior, potty mouth (courtesy of Star Trek's Nichelle Nicols), a great villain (Yaphet Kotto) and cameo's galore (Scatman Crothers) this movie rocks...oh I forgot to mention Hayes funky and catchy score..so good Quentin Tarantino used some of it in Kill Bill Vol.1. Amazing movie with a great blu-ray release...highly recommended!
