Some good moments and songs but nothing to write home about.

I love Avicii. He is a great DJ and his album True is brilliant, however these remixes take the soul from the original album and make it less than generic. Normally Avicii is a true master at remixing but this album is not True to the Original True in any aspect. The vocals are different, the music sounds like he ran the original master through some weird Music Tardis Machine and what came out what something that you would probably want to cover your ears and run before they start bleeding! It's really that bad. I hate to say that, since Avicii is an awesome DJ and his remixes of favorite Artist's from Nadia Ali to Madonna to Coldplay are stellar and out of this world, but True: Avicii by Avicii truly rings false!!!

This was a Christmas gift that was well liked by the receiver.

I like what I hear on the radio from Avicii, but was extremely disappointed to find that the mostly-folk sounding radio versions are nowhere on this CD. Instead, I'm left with a techno album and while a sprinkle of techno in a song is fine, I hate entire albums of just techno, so I won't be buying another album by Avicii in the future.

Buy this for the wide variety and the clean, upbeat musica style. The songs that you may have heard only focus on a sliver of the musical styles covered across the album. This album features many vocalists and covers several musical genres.
I quite enjoy the sound of nearly every track, but I do wish there was a little bit less of the "techno" flare to some of the songs.
Overall, pretty good album.
