    John Wayne is the old iconic Actor in his great role, Glen Campbell's career was skyrocketing when this movie was made. Glen always joked that he was so bad they gave John a Oscar for his acting. The remake is surprisingly solid. Matt Damon gives a strong performance and Jeff Bridges would've made John Wayne proud. Glad that this was a combo of the two movies and the price is a deal.

    These are two fantastic movies!!! Surprisingly excellent remake of all time classic western with one of the greatest of all time cowboys! The two are just different enough to see them both multiple times and enjoy them completely without feeling like it is just another remake! Fantastic acting in both movies!!! Highly recommend to anyone who is a western fan!!!

    The Duke. Nothing more needs to be said. The later "True Grit" version with Jeff Bridges is his "Duke", and one of his best portrayals.
