This movie could be an amazing movie if you're studying journalism. I'm not, but I still found it entertaining, even if it was a bit slow. Pretty interesting and keeps you guessing.

This film blew me away because of its performances. Franco and Hill really shine in the film. It is based on a true story and it can feel unsettling at times but it's a great film.

Whether or not you enjoy this film depends on your willingness to spend time with unsavory characters and how they use their skills to entangle others in their web of lies. In this case, you get two men, each capable of questionable behaviors trying to outsmart the other. It's a good character study and played well by Jonah Hill and James Franco.

Very interesting movie. I thought Jonah Hill played a great role in a more serious type role and had an excellent cast with him. Very thrilling movie and very suspenseful.

Overall, I was intrigued by the story, but it left me with many questions. I ended up spending a lot of time researching the real story to appease my curiousity.

True Story is a overlooked movie. It is very well written and executed. Jonah and James complement each others acting styles. Great drama would recommend to anyone.

If you are looking for an intense crime thriller with a spin check this out. Franco and Hill have great on screen chemistry and the story made it a great watch.

Bought while on sale for $5.99 and was not dissapointed. Interesting special features included and good dramatic roles for two of Hollywood's best comic actors

Happened upon this movie while browsing for others. For under $6 at the time of purchase, this was a no-brainer investment for me to try. Enjoyed the movie!

This was a fun ride,a psychological thriller that keeps you engaged the whole length of the film .Both James Franco & Jonah Hill give excellent performances .

this thriller isnt too thrilling.. these guys usually are in comedies and tried a different genre thsi time around that i dont feel suits them

Fan of James Franco, but was unsure how he would do in this movie. But He was a great crazy guy! Big twist at end. Good story and plot! Worth a watch!

It's hard to take Franco very serious these days, but this is an interesting true crime film that works. Jonah Hill's performance is pretty great.

I thought James Franco was playing his usual self of being a bad boy dressed in nice clothes. He played up his role and made the movie enjoyable.

I like a good true crime movie, or any crime thriller, and this is a good one. Plus, it's always good to see comic actors out of their element.

It was a good movie and kept you watching to see if he was telling the truth or playing him. Ending confused me but I eventually got it.

This was a good movie about what criminals do to try and get sympathy and reduced prison time. It was hard to know the real truth.
