Strange story but surprisingly I enjoyed this film.

i like the movie, it was great and a amazing thriller.

This is a great detective movie and I recommend it.

I haven't watched it yet but my husband has and he thinks it's a pretty good movie. He's usually the "movie picker" in the house but I picked this one and he enjoyed it. **pat on the back for me**

I was not expecting too much from this picture, but I was pleasantly surprised and I really did enjoy it. I thought the writing was good and the prinicpal actors we able to bring that to life

It sounded better and more interesting than it turned out. I know it is a true story and you can only dramatize a true story so much before it becomes stupid, but this would have benefited from some flashbacks of the actual crimes to give it some more kick.

TRUE STORY: IS AN EXCELLENT FILM BASED ON TRUE EVENTS THAT PITS A NEWS REPORTER AGAINST A MAN ON TRIAL FOR THE MURDER OF HIS WIFE AND THREE CHILDREN IN THIS PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER.

I had seen this movie before and liked it so much that I bought the DVD. I do not buy many DVDs any more but thought this movie was so good I want to see it again and have in my library.

Tension was high good thrills. Nice cinematography

It was unbelievable how someone could do what this guy did. It hit different emotions as I watched it. The outcome was surprising. The criminal mind can be very clever.

True Story is just another excellent film produced by James Franco and Jonah Hill. Both work seemlessly to understand the motives of a murderer here in Oregon.

Great movie, a suspenseful crime story with a nice twist! I would compare it to Gone Girl. No action but tells a story great enough to keep the audience interested.

This movie was very interesting. It has two of my favorite characters in it, and they both played the role well. It was good throughout the whole movie.

A suspenseful and captivating movie. Jonah Hill does a great job playing a serious role,as well as Franco playing the manipulating and coniving role. A must see!

Thriller based on a true story played by Jonah Hill and James Franco. Darkly themed with a somewhat disappointing twist at the end. Reasonably acted but the story and overall execution was a bit less than I expected
