I never watched Breaking Bad, but I saw Bryan Cranston in All the Way on Broadway and was just blown away by his portrayal of LBJ. He does as good a job in Trumbo. Helen Mirren is delightfully b*tchy and the rest of the cast is fantastic!

I'm surprised this movie didn't get more recognition, Bryan Cranston's performance academy award nominated performance was amazing and the film shows an unusual point of view during the anti communism era in the US. Great film overall

This is a wonderful movie starring Bryan Cranston does a very good job as Trumbo. Not having been around this era it was an interesting time/place for hollywood and how the war affected one's outlook in voicing their opinion/views.

Trumbo is the story of the real-life screenwriter Dalton Trumbo, who was blacklisted with others in Hollywood that had communist affiliations back in the early 1950's! It was top rate across the board!

Bryan Cranston is amazing as Dalton Trumbo, Hollywood's #1 screenwriter in the late forties before being blacklisted. This movie lets you find out how he & his friends survived the blacklist. A must see!

PERHAPS TRUMBO IS NOT FAMILIAR TO YOUNG MODERN AUDIENCES,..HARD TO BELIEVE THAT WRITERS AND ARTISTS WERE BARRED FROM THEIR PROFESSIONS DUE TO COLD WAR. TPARANOIA. THE BRAVERY OF HIS FRIENDS IN ASSISTING HIM TO EARN A LIVING CANNOT BE UNDERSTATED.

Difficult moments in US history when evryone was calling everyone else a commie. This film personalizes the choices of one man and the domino effect of the HUAC committee's witchhunt and the ramifications on Hollywood writers, directors and actors.

Good movie. Great historical journey and story telling into the past. Definitely Bryan Cranston at his absolute best since Breaking Bad. A must see if not for being a Cranston fan, the subject material.

I don’t know if you know the true story of this movie. But if you don’t I highly recommend anyone to watch what happen to people during the Cold War

This got Bryan Cranston nominated for the best actor oscar, he lost out to Leonardo Dicaprio. You definitely need to see this for his performance.

I recently bought this movie, very great story (Dalton Trumbo), great actor (Cranston), supporting cast, great everything, loved the movie. Cranston deserved the Oscar over DiCaprio. Get it!

An excellent reminder that our government has no respect for anyone that opposes their beliefs. First amendment... LOL!!!! GONE. Although revenge is sweet, when it's best served cold repeatedly.

Bryan Cranston performance is well worth his Oscar nomination. The story is profoundly interesting. Great insight into stories behind some of Hollywood's great films. Thumbs up for the collection of true stories which are my favorite movies.

I've been a fan of Bryan's since his Malcolm in the Middle days. He still doesn't disappoint! Anything he touches is gold. Great story, and incredible acting. Definitely worth picking up!

All the supporting characters were weak, except whoever played Edward G. Robinson. However all the movie needed was Bryan Cranston. He was brilliant!! But the movie was indeed very good.

This is a real good movie about a black-list writer during the "Mcarthy" era. The film was well made and well acted, the central theme is still relevant today. I'd give it 4.5-5 stars.

This was a pretty interesting movie. The trailers made it look boring, but it was quite entertaining. A good mix of funny and heart-breaking. The only disappointing thing about this blu-ray is the lack of special features.

This is a great film. Bryan Cranston shines as usual. The blu-ray is your standard studio release, nothing wrong with that. Digital HD Ultraviolet copy is always a plus.

It is a good thing this finding Communists era has passed. Now, however, we find political correctness to be very similar. Say the wrong thing and you are the devil.
