I have investments such as mutual funds. If you do your taxes with HR block, they charge you for each line item from each your mutual fund activity .. e.g. dividend re-investments, capital gains redistribution. Back in 2016, I ended up paying $500 for filing all of the financial investments. But with turbo-tax, it allows me to upload my fidelity investment account and my wife's citi bank investment electronically. You just need to provide account number, and it fetches the tax return data from those investment sites in a swift. It does the same thing for W-2. My tax tends to be complicated, because I live in NJ, and work in NYC. There was a time when I worked for 5 months in NYC, and 7 months in NJ. Turbo tax can handle it. If you have 2 states (e.g. live in NJ, work in NYC), you'll need to purchase the additional state tax electronically. The only caveat is when there is something new ... such as moving traditional IRA to roth IRA which shows up as taxable income. I have to do a bit of research on how to treat those as the taxable income is only the gain on the money was sitting in traditional IRA,

We continue to get turbotax each year to help with all of our tax returns. I love that you can import the information from the previous year's return. This makes updating information easier. You can also import information from financial institutions directly into the program. This makes for less chance of error in filing the return.

I've been using TurboTax for years and have moved to Premier the last few years as my investment tax situation has become more complex. I used to use it to organize and gather all necessary information for my tax preparer, And to doublecheck their work. After they retired, I started relying solely on TurboTax and it's worked out perfectly. The user interface is clear and intuitive. Online resources are excellent and updates are timely. Some complex investment scenarios, including overseas investments were handled properly. The level of support and availability of advice is getting better with each release, as is the automatic retrieval of tax documents. The automated form entry makes the new tax changes much more survivable.

Surprisingly easy to use. Was able to calculate royalties. Saved me $400 in accountant fees. Will be purchasing again in future years.

So easy to complete and cost is not to much. Easy to follow instructions.

Have used TurbiTax for several years and have seen continuous improvement. Going back to the last year and showing those numbers compared to this year is a great help. Also, since we have investments, being able to import and enter the data directly save having to guess on what the IRS is looking for. Good product, and I will continue to buy.

I have purchased turbotax software for the last three years. This is great software that guides you step by step on how to complete your taxes. The software also does a comparison of previous years tax returns. Highly recommend. Great value vs having your taxes done by a professional tax preparer. Highly recommend this intuitive tax software.

Tax time not the best for most folks. This product however helps the process. The disc loads easily from an outboard optical drive. The software is good for up to three users returns. If you have used Turbo tax in the past, the software will fill in the standard blanks like name, address etc . It populated our return using a PDF of last years tax return that I moved from a portable hard drive. Running on a new pc so I was pleasantly surprised about the ability to populate the form from the PDF file. This edition handles the usual user return requirements , work income, pensions annuities plus capital gains/losses for investments , the usual deductions and dividends. Easy to use and the filing process works well. with this product you can do your taxes.

I have owned and used TurboTax from the beginning. Great support if you need it. A really easy to use program. I have never had a problem with TurboTax no matter how complicated or simple my taxes have been. I have recommended this product many times over the past years.

Like other years, always easy to install where you want to store it. I especially value being able to import investment data from my brokerage companies. Updates regarding pending returns are helpful.

I’ve been purchasing TurboTax for the last 3 years and it’s simply the best. Very straightforward and you don’t have to be a tax professional to get your tax done right. Highly recommend.

We always purchase turbo tax it’s a great product I highly recommend this product, it’s so easy to use and it’s a lot cheaper to do turbo tax then paying someone else to do your taxes

I have purchased Turbo Tax from Best Buy for several years now. The product is easy to use,especially with the help it provides online. I especially like that I can save the program on my computer and go back numerous times to make any changes that I have to make. I also like that it will prefill names addresses etc. which you can easily change if there is a change. I also like the feature that it will show the previous year’s income, employer,deductions etc. it saves a lot of time so you don’t have to fill in same info again.

If you know what you need to do and your taxes are not too complex, TurboTax will save you money as compared to going to a CPA who will likely use a professional version of TurboTax or similar and charge you a lot more. That said, if you have unique tax situations, a CPA can be invaluable.

TurboTax is a wonder choice to save some money preparing your taxes and to make sure you don't miss anything. Can't go wrong.

This is the second year in a row that I used Turbo Tax to file a joint tax return. The first time, it was a daunting task given the slight complexities of our return, but thankfully, the online resources and customer support line that comes with the purchase allowed us to confidently file our return. This year was much easier because you can upload the previous year's return. If you do utilize the resources, especially the customer support phone line, make sure you have plenty of time, as the closer you get to the due date, the longer you'll be on hold. Also, if you collect all the relevant items needed for your return throughout the year instead of gathering everything at the last second, you'll find the Turbo Tax experience that much easier and convenient.

I've used this program for many years. It is easy to use, just answer the questions and make sure you check out all the deductions you can get. I use to do the paper form but wouldn't go back to it. I've used the basic and then gradually moved up to Premier because a few years ago things changed and they no longer allowed you to claim the rental deductions on the deluxe so I had to go to this one which cost more but still a great product. The only drawback is all the forms are not loaded on the disc and you constantly have to update the program so you have to have access to internet to do it and of course the extra download ability to do so, It takes longer to apply if you have extra forms that are not yet loaded on the program.
