This is an awesome headset for gaming. It's got some decent sound. The only complaint I have is the surround sound. Sometimes when I'm watching movies on my xbox and use my headset it's hard to hear when characters speak on almost all the surround sound settings.

These headphones are perfect for.gamers. They are to gamers, what BEATS are to those who love.music!

I couldn't believe the difference these make in the gaming experience. I play a lot of Call of duty and these make the game come alive. Its cool how you can hear footsteps behind you. I do burn some AAA batteries, but I bought a big pack of cheap ones, so that might be part of the issue.

The surround sound does actually help you in the role playing games. You can actually tell where the direction the sound comes from! I am not the best role player by a longshot, and these tend to help me determine where the gunfire comes from. Also, they are comfortable to wear, as I have had them on for 2 hrs. at most, and am not hurting in any way. Highly recommend!

Love the surround sound, but my friends do not like the quality they hear from my mic.

Pretty much said it already. Great quality for audio, and I haven't experienced and WiFi interference (like I did with previous wireless headsets). But the fit is tight enough that it can result in a mild headache after prolonged use.

this headset is cool being wireless but i feel like the batteries that come with it should be rechargeable. i dont want to constantly put batteries in this to use it, so i will be returning it to get a wired one.

I bought this headset to replace my old X12s after they bit the dust. The difference in sound quality is phenominal. The headset works great with all my games and has little audio lag which is very good for a wireless headset. Setup for xbox 360 and xbox one is really easy. You just plug the optical cable into the back of either console and the surround sound will work. For the xbox one, you'll need the stereo adapter for voice chat (do not be fooled by the name, the stereo adapter won't turn your audio into stereo quality it's only purpose for this is to have chat functionality). The only thing with the stereo adapter is to make sure the button that controls game audio is all the way down and the chat volume is all the way up. This allows you to use the headset's built in volume controls to override the stereo adapter. It's confusing but trust me it works. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone serious about gaming and sound quality. You won't be disappointed.

I'm not an extreme diehard gamer by any stretch of the term like a few of my friends are. I wanted a headset that had chat, wireless capabilities, and also surround sound. This headset gets the job done without spending $300 for the premiere line of turtle beach headsets. I play video games every now and again and this one meets my expectations quite well.

The headphones are top quality. Audio is crisp and clear while being very comfortable to wear. The voice recognition is in sync with game and no lag from TV to headphones.

These headsets are awesome. Great surround sound and super clear chat. The only thing I would note is the battery life. Consider also buying rechargeable batteries.

I would rate higher but in order to chat you have to connect with wire to controller so not completely wireless. Battery life sucks also! Only good thing is purchased during Black Friday so got a great price!

Installing everything was easy. The set up was a bit of a pain. It could take you multiple attempts to pair the headset with the base unit and after set up it would occasionally drop the pairing. Than you would have to redo the whole thing. The sound was excellent when it worked though and the multiple settings was cool as well. I ended up taking it back since I really don't want something that I have to set up constantly. I am going to look at buyin a higher end pair.

This is my first wireless and it works great and was easy to set up. I would recommend getting rechargeable batteries to save on cost and battery waste. I use mine almost everyday so battery drain down more quickly. I love that I can walk around while playing and I don't have to worry about wires getting tangled, etc.

My son was looking for a wireless headset for his Xbox 360. Finding it on sale was a bonus!

Bought these for my grandson for his Christmas present. He loves the gaming with his friends that these headphones make possible for him. Good sound quality.

Delivers great surround sound. But you need to have an optical out on xbox.
